  1. Hey guys/girls,

I know that while ago, because of the intense use of the Moth formation to kill NPC around, those NPC were kinda "balanced" in the HP/shield ratio so that the Moth formation can't be used on regular maps for bashing NPC (killing NPC with shield left).

Lately, I have been trying to use the Moth formation on NPC, especially Kristallons and I have noticed that this formation still helps in faster killing. I can not take HP out without taking down the shield first, but when the shield is to 0, the Kristallon has much less HP than any other formation I use (including Chevron too). Anyone else tried this?

One more question, anyone tried using Double arrow formation on NPC? How it works? :)

    Regards

Double arrow works the same way, NPC will have less HP by the time it's shields are gone compared to if you were just using something like the standard formation. It's just less efficient than the moth, no point using the double arrow over the moth.

  3. Thank you for the reply. I was asking for the Double arrow cause it doesn't lower your shield every second, that's why I asked for comparison :)

Out of topic question, have you tried this hunting with Moth outside of gates? I am curious why players around still don't continue using Moth for NPC bashing, when it is obviously faster? :) For example, with my Aegis and Moth, I find killing NPC a lot of faster (on normal maps, not gates). I have tried using Aegis and Chevron, but still, it is slower.

  4. ¤hüñ‡ë®¨¦MKЦ¨¤ you already mentioned it - maybe, they want to keep their shields for unexpected cases. Like when a hunter comes, they have better chances to escape.

  5. Seems so :) Thanks to both for the feedback.

  6. Hello ¤hüñ‡ë®¨¦MKЦ¨¤

Thank you all for assisting with this thread.

Do you (the original poster) have any further questions or can we close?

  7. i dont think it's any faster, it should take more time to take shield down because more dmg goes to hp, so it is same timewise.
chevron is better and bat is the best.

  8. It is faster, indeed :) Trust me, try it you will see.

    You can close. :)
