Cruelty pliot Bio skill

I want to know whether cruelty skills is applicable to gate rewards? I know it is applicable to NPC's and players.

Cruelty I = 8%
Cruelty II = 25%
so that means 33% bonus ?

Please keep this thread open as I want answer and also confirmation by admins.

 

yes they work on everything the ep pp don't tho

 

As mentioned yes, it works for everything but the bonus you get is the highest one shown. Cruelty I is needed for cruelty II and fully maxed out will give 25% more honor, not 33% for combining them.

You can confirm this yourself looking at ship hull I and II if you have them? You should see that you have an extra 50k hp rather than an extra 60k which would be I + II combined.

The reason I see these as a waste is because the amount of uri that you would use for these minor boosts could instead be invested in gates and then ammo like x3 to complete them faster. This would gain you much more EP and Honour and also at a much faster rate. Unless you have a large surplus of uridium this skill will probably be a waste

As from what i know i don't think DO has made any new update to pilot bio where you get rewards from completing the gates or quests?? I hope admins would answer??

Actually, Cruelty I & II do give the extra honor all the time, that includes quests & gates - so they are not a waste of uridium if you are interested is in ranking points.

The Cruelty skill WILL apply to Galaxy Gate rewards - we had this tested previously to confirm.
The maximum Pilot BIO benefit is 25%. The values displayed are a cumulative total - all Pilot BIO skills have a total of 5 points, however for "Cruelty" they are separated into two sets.

CHASE26 - That information in the FAQ was originally player-created, so the details are slightly inaccurate. The "Tactics" skill (EP bonus) will only apply to NPC kills, but "Cruelty" should apply in all situations. I have updated the text accordingly.

 

My reply was a definitive reply as I have had the Cruelty skill bonus applied to the gates I have done after I got it.
