Cubikon map and non- communal cubes.

  1. A. I think something needs to be done about cubes. I think they should remove the base in x-6 maps(this would also stop hogging to some extent) and place a boss cubikon there. It would have 4x the hp and shields and spawn 15 boss prots which together would hit around 80k. This would be very hard to solo and still a challenge to do in a group, therefore I think the rewards should be 8x that off a normal cube.

    B. As for the issue about hogging and leeching. There is a reason UFEs and Soloist like myself shoot people who shoot the cubes I am soloing. This is because of how disproportionate the rewards received are to the damage done. For example a UFE might be soloing a cube with a new player who only hits 1k whereas the UFE hits 60k, Yet the new player will still get around 30-40% of the rewards even when the UFE did 98% of the damage. This is my main problem with leechers. A simple fix would be to make it proportional so that the amount of damage you do changes the rewards you recieve. In practise this should work as the noob would only get a very small reward for doing a very small amount of damage and the UFE would get a worthy reward for using their elite ammo.

    C. As for doing this I disagree completely. If you make a alien a UFE cannot solo then how can a group of FEs do it in a group ? You need to bare in mind that there are plenty of different power levels and therefore if it cannot be soloed by someone who has all of the elite equipment then a group of newer players will not be able to do it as a group and so it does not solve the problem of the UFEs "hogging" the cubes.

    Why would it be eight times the reward of a normal cube? How would removing the base stop hogging? People can just go to the portal and repair instead of the base, and the x-6 is the most powerful base to own (not talking about mechanics, talking about politics).

    Instead of looking at it like a single alien, how about a new gate that is impossible to solo beyond, say, the first wave. A harder version of Hades.
     
  4. Where else would you put the boss cube ? Also bases are reduntant and a waste of time in my opinion, I'd rather see them removed completely. Anyways it has 8x the reward and only 4x the strength because of how stupidly hard it is. Think about it you have to take out 4x more hp and shields whilst being hit 4x as hard, how does that not sound nearly impossible ?

    It would be fun to do in groups. And now with the 8 people in an outfit thing, it would encourage more people to group together.

    You could put it in 4-5. But with 8 people in an outfit, everyone would be getting a thousand Uridium. I think two or three ue aegises could take this, and they'd be getting a lot of uridium fast.
