Daily Auction of the 11th Nov.. US1 server

What happened to the daily Auction... I had a bid on a ship at 15 mins before the hour (the auction still had 30 mins to run) and went to write a message whilst waiting to ensure there were no over-bids at the last minute.. I came back at 10 past the hour and the process had ended 10 mins before (on the hour as it normally should but hasn't been doing) and someone else had won 'my' item for one third my bid... I checked messages and 'My Bids' tab and also the history for the 11th nov!

AND to make matters worse for me.. at 00:36:00 the Daily Auction timer is now showing 22:36:00 remaining (so its not on the hour again and a different time altogether from either 55mins ago when I first came on to check and when the auction finished)

Is this an evil plot to confuse us/me and annoy those people that make the effort to take part?

AND now I go to place an early bid for today 12th Nov(having apparently lost 11th) and am told I already have the ship in Hangar and the timer is back to 23:15:00 remaining.... and it was my original bid that won for 11th Nov

Is it me thats is going mad ... can I go back to bed and sleep now or is the world going to shift under my feet again before morning?

Im not even sure if this is the right place for my thread anymore... is this general or technical... please move it, when/if you can work out what just happened, if thats what you want to do
