    General information

    Yarrr me Mateys, the Darksilver Pirates have been discovered! Take them down to earn rare items, including the all-new Caucasus Laser!

    The Darksilver Pirates are a dangerous faction that has occupied a new map via hostile takeover. Being some very angry cultist pirates, the Darksilver are using very dangerous tech to attack you. But on the other side, you also have the chance to get very nice rewards if you manage to defeat them – because where there is a Pirate, there is loot!

    Pirate Map 5-4 and NPC Spawn
    To enter the brand-new 5-4 Pirate map, you need to access the existing Pirate map 5-2 (requires level 12 to enter). On the 5-2 map, there’s a special entry that you can use to go to the new 5-4 Pirate map. To enter the 5-4 Pirate map, there’s an entry requirement of 1 Silver Booty Key.

    New Silver Booty Boxes
    We’re introducing new Pirate Booty Boxes: The Silver Booty Boxes. In addition to some of the usual rewards for Pirate Booty Boxes, these boxes contain rare materials for high-level generators, for LF-4 upgrades, for Prometheus Lasers and for Dispatch Rocket Launchers. There’s a chance to get the following items out of it:
    - A chance to get G3N-7900
    - A chance to get SG3N-B02
    - A chance to get LF-4
    - A chance to get 5 to 20 Isochronate
    - A chance to get 2-15 Hydra Alloy
    - A chance to get 2-15 Triskelion Alloy
    - A chance to get 2-15 Neptune Alloy​

    These Silver Booty Boxes will spawn all around the new Pirate Map, so keep an eye out for them!

    To open the new Silver Pirate Boxes, you need special Silver Pirate Keys that you can get either from the Darksilver Pirate NPCs or you can craft them in Assembly:
    - A chance that Pike drops it on kill​

    New Darksilver Coin
    With the new update, a new currency is introduced: The Darksilver Coin. It’s a coin made out of Palladium that serves as the Darksilver Pirates' main means of currency.

    You can use it to craft Silver Pirate Keys or Silver Booty Boxes via Assembly.

    The Darksilver Coin drops from the Darksilver Pirate NPCs on kill:
    - Spookfish: chance to drop 1
    - Lanternfish: chance to drop 2
    - Barb: chance to drop 3
    - Pike: drops 5
    - The Stinger: drops 75 for the top 8 participants​

    Additionally, the Darksilver Coin has a chance to drop from these existing Uber Pirate NPC's:
    - Annihilator, Barracuda, Interceptor, Saboteur: chance to drop 1​

    New Laser: Caucasus
    An essential tool for every pilot's arsenal, burn down the hordes of enemies in your way!
    Damage: 200
    Bonus: +15% NPC damage
    - Fires an additional shot that deals 100 bonus damage every 5 seconds.​

    How to get the new Caucasus laser:
    - It drops from the Stinger at a very low chance
    - It can be crafted in Assembly​

    Balancing Update - FAQ

    General information

    Together with the new content expansion, there will be some balancing changes in the game that are listed below:

    Changes for Ships
    • Solaris ship:
      • The “Incinerate” ability of the ship currently deals 6,000 damage per second. This will be raised to 10,000 damage per second
    • Holo ship:
      • The cooldown for the “Enemy Reversal” skill currently has a cooldown of 300 seconds, this will be reduced to 120 seconds
      • The cooldown for the “Self Reversal” skill currently has a cooldown of 300 seconds, this will be reduced to 120 seconds
      • The max HP/Nanohull of the ship will be raised from 350,000 to 375,000
    • Spectrum ship:
      • The duration of the “Prismatic Shielding” ability will be changed from 15 seconds to 10 seconds
      • The Enemy Laser reduction will be raised from 70% to 90%
      • The Self Laser reduction will be reduced from 45% to 25%
      • The Shield bonus will be raised from 10% to 25%
    • Orcus ship:
      • The Speed will be reduced from 290 to 280
      • The max HP/Nanohull of the ship will be lowered from 350,000 to 300,000

    Changes for Weapons
    • LF-3 laser:
      • The damage will be reduced from 180 to 175
      • An NPC damage of +15% will be added

    Changes for Dispatch
    To help newer players, the following will be added:
    • B01, B02, A01, A02, R01, R02:
      • Guaranteed 10,000 EP per run
    • B03, B04, A03, A04, R03, R04:
      • Guaranteed 50,000 EP per run
    • B05, A05, R05:
      • Guaranteed 100,000 EP per run

    Kuiper Gate Improvement
    After the removal of the 200,000 Uridium compensation for already existing ships, we reworked the Kuiper gate rewards. The following changes will be made (marked in green):

    Special Booty Days (Red, Blue, and Apocalypse)
    Occasionally, Schism will be dropped from the Alpha gate on top of regular rewards. On these special days, the Alpha gate will award between 25 and 30 Schism.

    LF-4 Day
    As an additional reward, you’ll either get 1 LF-4 laser or 10,000 UCB-100.

    Enhanced LF-4 day
    As an additional reward, you’ll get either 1 LF-4 Hyperplasmoid laser or 1 LF-4 Magmadrill laser or 1 LF-4 Paritydrill laser or 10,000 UCB-100.
