Death Battle! Aegis vs Citadel

  1. 1. Exactly, they're not effected by rocket fusion which is why rocket damage has its own set of brackets in the formula, so Rocket Fusion only affects rockets, not Hellstorms.

    2. a) It can only shoot 10 Hellstorms maximum.
    b) They don't both load up at once so DPS is about the same.
    c) But you do have a point, the Citadel could benefit from having 2 Hellstorm launchers. I could give both ships time to prepare for the fight -- which means that the Citadel will have time to load up all 10 Hellstorm rockets while other ships can only load up 5 making it shoot 5 more Hellstorms on the first volley, but I'm pretty sure people would just rage if that happened.

    3. I always did them on one battle config...

    4. Whenever I use x6 I swear the cooldown is 2 seconds. I need a moderator to confirm the cooldown time for x6.

    5. That's why they don't get the extra 10% shields.

    6. I'm pretty sure it's 4-5 seconds, again I need a moderator to confirm this.

    7. Repair Pod lasts 7 seconds without Elite Design, 11 seconds with the Elite design. Mods please confirm.

    8. I understand that the abilities of the Aegis take time to use fully, so just assume that both ships have an EMP and an Insta-Shield making the fight last longer so the Aegis can use its abilities fully.

    2. Just the fact the first fire from the rocket launcher shoots twice as many rockets as the aegis gives it a decent benefit already.

    3. First time I red one of these by you :)

    4. pretty sure it's 3 seconds. I believe every shot is 1 second away from the next shot and it goes like this: RSB whites whites whites RSB whites...

    5. my bad again,really didn't read carefully.

    6. I can guarantee you a 100% it's 10 seconds for the normal citadel and 7,5 seconds when using the elite design.

    7. Again I can guarantee you this a 100%. The reapair pod lasts 9 seconds (180.000 HP) and 14 seconds (280.000 HP) on the elite design.

    8. In that case the aegis may be able to get the full or at least almost the full HP benefit.
     
  3. Can a mod please confirm the following:

    How long the Repair Pod lasts.

    How long Fortify lasts.

    The cooldown time of x6.

    Was there also Seprom, designs, boosters, x4, x6, level 6 drones, Hellstorms, PLT 2020s and Tech Items back then?

    You know what I did forget in my post? Item upgrading on the Hellstorm launcher. :p

    Can someone please answer the question about old school fe?

    You know what, your absolutely right about the Repair pod lasting 9 seconds without design and 14 with design. But I'm not sure about Fortify lasting for 10 seconds.

    trust me, the fortify ability lasts 10 seconds on a normal citadel and with the elite design 7,5 seconds. I know this for sure

    the 2 hellstrom launchers aren't a big advantage since it takes the same amount of time to load two launchers as it does for the aegis to fire twice with its hellstroms I know this is a standing fight but if the cit uses fortify a aegis would just fly back out of range rep and wait for fortify ability to stop then move back in but still liked the post.

    old school fe 8 iris no bio or up grades all lf3s and all bo2 shields and no drone formations or designs.
     
  7. Thank you, but what about Seprom, Tech Items, x6 and x4?

    You know the Citadel can just fly right beside the Aegis when he's using Repair Pod and activate Fortify, both ships would have to stay still for their abilities.
     
  8. Lol I really need to go and try out with my clan mates about this like a 1v1 with a citadel and all the other ships and i may let you know how it goes and may ever record it :D would be fun :p

    Repair Pod (Aegis): Already answered
    Fortify (Citadel): Duration - 10 seconds.


    RSB cooldown is 3 seconds, however the major change is that this ammo type no longer has an independent fire-rate. So it cannot "combo" with other attacks - it will take the place of one. Example:

    RSB (Cooldown 3 seconds)
    x4 (Cooldown 2 seconds)
    x4 (Cooldown 1 second)
    x4 (Cooldown completes - can fire on next available volley)
    RSB
    etc...

  12. Old School FE (far as i remember...)

    NO upgrades
    No Drone Designs
    No ship designs
    No Pilot Bio
    No x6
    x4 was rare(generally purchasable in ammo packs) So x3 was used by FE players
    Max 8 drones
    Only LF3 and BO2
    No drone formations
    No hellstorm rocket launchers
    No PET
    No PLT 3030 Rockets( Only 2021 were available)
    And seprom, as i remember was not there

  14. UFE pnut can demolish normal fe any day. Doing 100k damage is possible in a phoenix. I've had spearheads hit me for 110k damage. Already know the outcome of that fight :D
