    The Chip I'm proposing boosts the pilots counter attack abilities by priming the weapons system to launching an automatic counter attack against any pilot that fires on your ship.

    Each auto-lock takes 50 xenomit.
    The suggested price would be 30K Uri.

    Terrible idea. This chip would take all the skill out of PvP and it could easily be abused by people collecting palla while AFK.
     
  3. kinda defeats the purpose of a sneak attack, but the idea does sound interesting.

    Could have it programmed to say launch a pure defense maneuver, like activating an insta-shield or dropping an emp and cloaking up.

    I agree with both people above. It takes all skill out of the game and people in palli would just sit forever without moving except to change positions.

    It actually assists skill concerning the ammo change , but it does put a damper on ambush attacks.

    No, it hurts skill with ammo changing. Your timing would be way off in the first few shots because you didn't physically press the button.

    Yes but at the very least that time would happen anyway.
    Difference is, that time will be occupied with an auto counter attack.

    @LUCKY Ace: That would be a good idea but considering the notion that all pilots will have lasers and rockets but not all pilots will have cloaks, insta shields or EMPS's the logical course for this idea is to counter attack.

  8. Counter attack? Thats literally makes this game a matter of being ufe or dead , no more sneak attacks or skills, what would be the point to play anymore...

    It brings sharply into focus the type of fighter they want to become.
    The strikers hone their attack capabilities in the Pilot bio as well as the equipment, ships, abilities and tactics.

    The defenders "like me" do the same but from a defense stand point in order to force Fe and UFE to spend more resources to pop them especially when "like me" they return repeatedly into the frey after being popped.

    The irony here is that this idea helps both types of fighters regarding the weakening of the aggressive attacker for the next pilot to take out if not destroying them outright.

    Whats the point in playing a game if you are going to have a program play it for you?

    Oh the gameplay is still there, after all the ammo would still need changing even after the counter attack is launched.
     
  12. just terrible... guys thats why we are trying to get rid of the bots and autolocks... and you are suggesting an auto lock? excuse me? you cant be serious... so whats the purpose of having a mouse? basically thats the whole game about clicking fast and first ..... a year more and yall gonna suggest a special ship which makes you kills without dying? loooool -10000

    This is a pvp game where ambush attacks happen every day.
    This idea is a counter ambush attack that brings more balance to the game than not having it.
    Oh and thanx for pulling the bot card, this idea would allow the option of fighting fire with fire.

    It is always better to have and not need.....Even you can see that.

    Right, opposing ships hitting harder is robbing the game of sooooo much skill.
    Also the notion of fighting fire with fire in a pvp game....
    Sheesh, there seems to be serious issues targeting the notion of an even closer version of a fair fight than what the current game provides.

    Why would that be?....

    Ambushing is a strategy utilized by hunters, this isn't balance, its destruction to the game, legal autolocks, your out of your mind.

    Choosing ammo during a counter attack is a skill by everyone, this is balance.

    This isn't a skill, it's an autolock, you should re-think the whole idea of legal autolocks and how this would balance anything.

    I did, this idea provides a counter attack option every bit as much as the cloak provides an ambush attack.
    Having both in game is game balance.
