Demaner Freighter Kills For Mission

The 5 demaner freighter kills for the Buffalo Bill somehow dont count even though i shoot the demaner till the end.

 

u have to be the first to shoot it red lock

 

I still have 1 out of 5.. and I really need that hercule so I won't give up. Everybody on my server is trying to form big groups lol.. so it's pretty hard.

 

this mission is nearly impossible, don't bother

alots messed i can regiester the kills in log but not in missions time to go back to eve

 

I know that this event is suppose to be fun for all, however it is not.

If the demeanor spawns every 20 minutes, that is 3 demeanors and hour.
3 deameanors x 24 hours is 72 total demeanors.

If you are in a group of 8 people that is 72 deameanor x 8 = 576 players could get the reward overall for the event.
But of those possible 576 rewards each player needs 5, so 576 divided by 5 = 115.2 might finish the quest. But this is unlikely... As the players who don't need the hercules are getting great kills on the lower level players who do need them.

However my quest shows 3 kills. I thought the freightor was a community NPC, like the cubicons. I know I assisted in killing the freightor 8 plus times, but to get the actual lock and keep it from the Big Dogs of the game... Is impossible.

I have spent alot of ammo and boosters to get nothing.

Could someone look into this, as I am sure that this has been the case for a lot of the community.

My logs say i killed 8 of them but only got credit for 1 . Its hard to keep red lock on this ncp with all the other npc and enemys shooting you .And like witchway said in her post not even 1/4 of the server could get this quest finished .You want to keep players in the game but with things like this your loosing them

I had first lock on 1 and it didnt count and someone stole my box lol....could really care less for the box wanted to mission to come to an end which it didnt and now the event is offline.....I feel robbed, could have boxed more, done quest and just done pvp kills....But I was hoping to finish the mission....

 

You needed to lock it first or someone in your group to lock it first.





Someone slap me please for wasting 2400 hours of my life and hundreds of dollars on this game.....

 

Players annoyed but still spending money. Working as intended, no change forthcoming.

 

The quest i made just so you can't complete it.

 

just like the cubes u have to have red lock to get the killz

and you're maths is wrong 12midnight is when the quest came on and the dems fighters came back on so from 12:00 to 20:00 = 20 hours x3 = 60 dem fighters between min of 500 - 2000 players depending on server this should have been the big quest thats started on the first day not one of the small end ones

I am afraid you may not like what i am about to say, however it was intended by support for this particular quest to be difficult to be complete since the end reward was much more luxurious.

The Demaner Freighter ship acts like any other NPC when it comes to kill count, in order for the kill to count towards the quest you must have been the first person to lock and shoot the NPC. There was a trick that many used to complete the quests, and that was by getting into outfits since the kills then count towards the quest.

I am sorry if this is not what you expected, but the quest was intentionally hard. Since this is therefore not a bug, i shall close the thread.
