Demeanor event

Just a quick one. Could i ask that support has a look at who gets the cargo boxes from the Demeanor event on GB-1?? It seems that one player has developed a knack of being in the right place at the right time and taking almost all cargos.
Not saying it's cheating in any way but it's a little odd... sort of goes against the sprit of the whole thing

The cargos appear when the Demaner Freighter is destroyed, you just have to be there when it dies and be first to click on the cargo. Not very hard to be the right place and right time when the time and place are common knowledge :s

 

Brilliant, thanks for stating the obvious Okapi. I d know it spawns one cargo. I do know exactly where it is and and what time..and the fact i have to click it.
What I'm asking is how-come the vast majority of cargoes are getting picked up by a single player??? Massive TV screen?? superfast fibre?? etc etc

 

I believe it is because that person knows where to be better than other players. The one who gets the cargo is always in the better place than everyone else. Fast connection and tv screen surely can help

In my clan there is one guy who has gotten 10, one who has 5 (me) and one who has 0. All of us have shot same amount of them, the guy with 10 just knows where to be better than the guy with 0. I see so many people being far away from the dema when it blows up, it is likely that in your server there are only few guys who actually know the exact spot where it will appear.

Luck has a role too.

 

If you know where it spawns then why are you making it sound like being in the right place is hard?? All you do is fight right on top of the Demaner as its about to die, that way when the cargo spawns your ship is right on top if it and you are the one who gets the click on it.

You notice most people fight around the Demaner and not on top of it? See if you shoot it whilst being right on top of it YOU get the cargo and not them, I know its a hard thing to get to grips with but if you are closer to the cargo than other people you will have a better chance of picking it up. Am I pointing out the obvious again? Probably because what you are asking has a obvious answer.

Took people hundreds of years to come up with that tactic so use it wisely! Wait another important thing, just remember be logged into the game and that you need to click on the cargo to pick it up, looking at it won't do it for you.

 

Brilliant, pls close as all i see is flippant answers from Okapi who i had far more respect for until now. I do know to sit on top of the Demeanor and don't appreciate being treated like an idiot.
Cheers Darko, he must have a far better view/ bigger screen than me as all i ever see is a mass of players and pets etc. that was my thoughts on it

 

If you ask about the right place and right time to pick up demaner cargo and get offended when someone points out the place and time is common knowledge then don't be surprised when they give a sarcastic response back. You say I was pointing out the obvious, I was answering the obvious because your question asked it.

A bigger screen does not help, unless you screen isn't even big enough to fit the demaner on. A good connection would very slightly, a good PC would help a lot more than a screen or connection. The positioning of you ship is the ultimate deciding factor as to whether you get the cargo or not, which both I and Darkomaani. have pointed out, but apparently that's too obvious when I say it right? x)

You ask a obvious question I am more than happy to give you the obvious answer.

....and if u didn't sense the sarcasm in my original post as above, then you appear to have more intelligence than common sense..which appears to be a curse suffered by many computer experts.

I cant even see the cargo, so many people over it not above it as they should be collecting it. How can they collect the cargo more than once if there is just a splodge of ships covering it and I cant even see it under them.
