i came up with a idea: if you shoot another player while at port you have to wait 5 seconds ill give you some scenarios
demilitarized
eic shooting a BK at his port>vru player shoots that person> eic can still jump
eic shooting a BK at his port then shoots a vru> eic cant jump for 5 seconds
eic shotos a Vru at the eics demilitarized zone> eic is port locked for 5 seconds
vru shoots eic at eics port> eic can still jump
eic shoots vru outside of demilitarized zone> and eic makes it to the demilitarized zone> cant jump unless he didnt shoot vru for 5 seconds.
vru shoots eic at eics port> both can still jump because eic didnt hesitate.
vru shoots mmo at eics port> both are not port locked

basically if you engage in any battle your port locked for 5 seconds. or 3 idk just throwing this idea out seems like a good idea sounds like a good idea.

 

How about no. Confusing as hell when you first read it to, 5 seconds to do what? You really only needed like 3 scenario's tops.

Don't fight at port like an idiot, they're just trying to waste your ammo, don't use such language on the forums and me and submarine can read just fine, the idea is still bad.

 

i wouldnt if you atleast respect my ideas and not call me things that im not.

 

Well I don't condone what submarine called you I can understand why, this idea is bad and would probably damage the game and lower the active player population more.

 

stainless. In case you didn't know, popping portal huggers isn't hard. you just have to use sneaky tactics.

This idea is absurd. It's like changing a major feature of the game. it's as bad as saying, if you shoot an npc and then shoot another, the first npc will no longer be yours and anyone who comes and pops it will get the kill.

I'm not saying your idea is what i described above, but it's AS bad as doing somehting like that.
