Design customization !

I think a good idea would be allowing players to pick the colors of their designs it would work like this.

You buy the design, and pay an extra 50-100k Uridium (depending on how much the design cost) to change the color of every piece of the ship to whatever you want, but once it's done you can't change it again unless you pay another fee.

This would allow players to have a unique touch adding their own style to the design.

It would work on any design even the spectrum for example, if you want a all orange spectrum you can color the whole ship orange, or make it orange and red.

This is just an idea I don't think it would be difficult to do at all, and entire clans could fly the same color ships which would be nice, in my opinion it would bring beauty to the game ^_^ let me know what you think !

Honestly DO would make a considerable amount of money if it cost 10,000 uri to add color to a part of the ship, no need to throw 50k or 100k on something like that.With a system like this its not the set price that makes the company money,its the repetitive purchasing that makes the money.....And this idea has been swimming around DO forums for years.

While u are creating it for ur signature.

It would be more like 500- 1k uri just for a paint job. And it may cause lag with all the multiple color codes that are coding back to one another.

I like the idea, but do aint gonna do it.

50k to 100k, are you mental, you must ove spending your money on this, NO to this. sorry way to pricey everytime ya wanna change coour of ya ship, do might aswell just create a paint shop cpu for the ships.

 

Nope I disagree the system would be abused, people would be changing their designs every few days the point of this idea is for those to work their butt of to be unique, if someone can't afford it they can stay regular this isn't an idea for those that can't make uridium . I don't over spend I can make 50-100k in just a few days, if you think 50-100k is a lot I can't imagine how long it will take you to reach uber fe considering you need to spend way more than that.

 

im already uber fe on 2 server and fe on 4 others, so yes i can make uri so this is basically an ideas for uri makers only, not very attractive, whens its aimed at one type of player.

 

Well that's too bad it makes it more rewarding when you earn it instead of being handed things on a silver platter, it's meant to be something that makes the person STAND OUT from the rest, if someone likes my design they could easily pay a small fe to copy it vs having to pay quite a bit which will make them think twice.

 

Yeh, like on your main page, it gives you this ship layout, kinda like when you play the racing games on ps3 ps4 and xbox, you should be able to add decals small ones of your company or clan, make your own color schema as long as it falls within ur companies colors to some extent. but price is too high.
