destroying alien force

playing game tonight normal aliens show up as red,good guts blue but there was a yellow ship or whatever invesable except for the yellow dot.how do I destroy it,tried clicking on dot in mini map also tried following it in full mode but cant fire on it.then a caption comes up saying I failed to destroy alien force

The Yellow dots are cloaked NPCs for the Infiltration event. There are a certain number that appear in a map along with a timer. If the timer expires before all the cloaked NPCs in the map are destroyed, then you get the message that you saw.

how do I kill them,i tried clicking on the dot and npressing the cnt button but nothing happins,is there a special way to fire at them,thanks

You can kill those NPC's in same manner you kill normal NPC's and regarding locking is concerned its same as you lock cloaked enemy ship.

I have never killed a cloaked ship so I don't know how to kill these,thats what I want to know is what I have to do to kill them.i try clicking on the yellow dot in the mini map and nothing happens,then I tried to follow them on the main page by following them and trying to fire but I cant fire the control button doesn't fire nor the tab ba,so what does fire

 

No the minimap only works as a radar and to move long distances, you have to click around the place like crazy and see if you lock it and press the shooting button many times once you lock it youll start shooting and then you will see if you are shooting an npc or a player.

dont rely on the mini map there mite be a yellow or red dot but it wont be where the dote corresponds with the map the dote can be on ur left but acutely its on ur right mini map don't correspond to the map its off a bit

 

that happens depending on the size of your minimap if you have it on the largest option youll see its easier to know where the dot is and click it faster.

to the OP, And when it comes to locking a cloaked npc or person mini map can still help direction and pace and distance of dot can sometimes work out. just spam the click on the game page in that direction till you get it.
