Diminisher ability

    I was using the diminisher today for a first time in a while and hovered over the ability to found it had changed:

    Never knew it had a negative effect now, however upon testing it the negative 30% shield strength doesn't exist.
    Once the dimisher ability ends the overall shields on both configs remains the same as they were on your ship beforehand and the damage done to the shields does not increase at all.

    So I'm not too sure if the issue is that the negative effect doesn't work or that the text is wrong and it's not meant to say that at all?
    Seems a bit harsh to give an ability that has a direct instant counter a negative effect that hurts the user as well.

    Can it be attributed to any events or things like that?

    Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

    I have passed this on to be tested for possible recreation. In the event that this is found to be a true issue it will be sent on to have it investigated further.

    Test Edit: This does work exactly as the decription says. Tested 2 ways.

    1- No firing of lasers : As soon as the Ability finished it dropped the full sheilds 30% and automatically repaired back to full.

    2. Tested Firing/battling: While Firing on the Dinimisher, the 50% damage by him was accurate- and his shield did drop as he was being attacked. Once ability stopped. The remaining Sheilds dropped 30% and continued to reduce as battling.

    Thanks for looking into it. I managed to recreate the same issue I was having before with the same two accounts I used in the first test.



    I would have said it was an issue with war clans and the ability not working but I had a friend test it out and they had the same results as you did so not really sure why it worked him and not for me. When I have a chance later I will try it on an enemy company member and see if I still have to same issues.


    Edit:

    Just tried it on a NPC and lost the shield afterwards so really don't know why I don't lose it only vs a war clan.
