DMZ Glitch?

I think this is part of Hitac, but not sure and I understand completely what's going on.

*This was noticed on the USA West Server, unsure if any other servers have this issue*

When any NPC or Player is on a gate that is not in DMZ, and you, yourself, are protected by the DMZ... You can shoot the un-DMZ'ed entity unless you get out of the DMZ range, shoot the object, and fly back in. Is this a glitch, or some new "update"? I find this quite inconvenient and it should go back.

*Laymen terms: You can't shoot anything when you are in the DMZ area, even if the person/NPC you're trying to shoot at is being protected by the DMZ.

There's a message saying:

Attacking: <Entity>
Demilitarized zone
Attack on <Entity> was canceled.

Example:
I was shooting a Hitac, and naturally, the Hitac is not covered by the DMZ, so shooting is valid. But now, when I do, this happens (I was in 3-4, and protected by the DMZ while the Hitac wasn't and I saw players actively shooting it).

Attacking: -=[ Hitac-Minion ]=-
Demilitarized zone
Attack on -=[ Hitac-Minion ]=- was canceled.

 

I know it was happening on usa east 1 past few days.

lets say you are vru ,and you go to eic or mmo. and u stay in the portal . they can't shoot you .you will receive no dmg, only vru can attack you from what I've experienced

 

Nope, that's quite all, you may close ^^

If you are VRU and go into EIC maps and stay in the portal, only players NOT covered by the DMZ can shoot you, which includes MMO.

 

Just drag a sk to the port with you and shoot the invader

Works for me lol

 

It works but its just inconvenient
