Draw Fire Glitch

Hello,

I was in 2-6 when an enemy clan member came up and demil'ed me. My ally clan member used draw fire on me and i flew off of port. I instantly got poped by multiple enemy clan members.

Is this how draw fire is supposed to work?

 

It obviously doesn't work properly because they just want your money for a big pile of wasted metal(I almost killed you in 1-6 today).

 

Draw Fire

This ability allows you to temporarily redirect nearby enemy fire towards your ship.

If that that isn't what happened then there's a problem, although you didn't describe the situation very well and don't have any evidence although evidence would just get thrown out the window.

 

it only works in outfits dont it?

 

No, it draws all nearby enemy fire towards you

Map: 2-6
Night, around 8pm Server time (EST), when the Cubikon event was on

I was sitting at the top right port in 2-6 with a couple of allied clans who I was in a Group with at the time, when an enemy clan came up. One of my group members had a Citadel, and used Draw fire on me. The animation started with the Purple emulating off of them and I. I started to fly off of port when they started to attack me. All the damage went to me, and not to my group member with the Citadel. I was not that far from the port, I could still see my group member on the side of my screen.

if the ciitidel was at a port and in the DMZ draw fire isnt gonna work because you cant be shot in a DMZ...

 

Well, You're supposed to be taking damage from your outfit members. not really have to be shot at.

 

kidz is probably right ... if the citadel had of rolled off port with you then hit draw fire and went back to port it would have worked.

I apologise for the delayed response in this thread. Unfortunately the testing was unable to produce any of the issues that you have experienced. I hope that this is mirror in your game play and that you are also not experiencing this issue any longer.
