    Bakjam here, with another complainment (no this is to make the game better) :p about the elite designs for the aegis, citadel and spearhead ships.

    Before i start with the cons, let me clarify one big pros:

    5% DMG boost, really fits the dangerous looking designs and i wouldn't want the many other way.

    Now lets go to the ''cons''

    Citadel-elite:
    The thing that bothers me with the citadel-elite is that the length of its best ability (the travel ability) is reduced, to make abilities that are utterly useless when not in a group last longer. I feel like I now have to choose between a good ability and a DMG boost which I think is really bad. I understand that the citadel is a group ship but it is already slower than any other of the star ships (goliath, aegis, spearhead and vengeance), and I think reducing the lengt of the travel ability will make it harder for the citadel to be in time and help te group out.

    Aegis-elite:
    I think this design is already better, compared to the citadel-elite, but still it has some big flaws:

    First of all, it makes an hp repair ability last longer, now some of you might think this is good, for example when running a suicide config, however it is done by increasing the duration of the repair pod for which you will have to stay in a surten area, rather then being bing able to use it everywhere (like the shield and HP beam repair abilitys). Secondary, i think that most of the time, a repair of shield will fit you better, especially considering you already got one shield repair ability. And if you are in a fight with an aegis elite and it throws a repair pod you can sometimes just fly away, with 2 likely outcomes:

    A: the aegis will follow you to keep up with you and get shot due to lack of HP

    B: the aegis will stay near its repair pod and you get the chance to flee


    Spearhead-elite:
    Looking at the spearhead, it is already getting much better. The increase in duration of the ultimate cloaking ability is awesome and really fits the scout. I also like the reduce of the marking ability as that isn't really a usefull ability in my opinion. In addition i like it how they , rather then lowering the lenght of an ability, increase its cooldown time.

    The only thing that i think is bad about this one is that the duration of the JAMX ability isn't increased. The ability already lasts for just 5 seconds, and you can't counter abilitys in this 5 seconds time AFTER you fired it and pass by (for example) an aegis which is using its repair abilitys. Furthermore, the cooldown of JAMX already is pretty long, considering it is longer than all of the abilitys of the aegis and citadel (except fortify). This means that the citadel and aegis can use their abilitys earlier then the spearhead can counter them. And after the five seconds, unactivated abilitys can be used again :L

    Solution:
    However, by only stating problems and not giving solutions we wouldn't reach anything. So, considering the points stated above I came up with the following sollutions / fixes / ideas for the elite designs:

    Citadel-elite:
    +5% DMG
    Duration travelability: 50% longer
    Duration fortify: 30% shorter
    Duration draw-fire: +0%
    Duration protection: +0%

    Cooldown travelability: +0%
    Cooldown fortify: +10%
    Cooldown draw-fire: +0%
    Cooldown protection: +0%

    Aegis-elite:
    +5% DMG
    Duration Repair pod: -25%
    Duration HP straal: +25%
    Durationshield rep: +25%

    Cooldown Repair pod: +0%
    Cooldown HP beam: +0%
    Cooldown shield rep: +0%

    Spearhead-elite:

    Duur ultimate cloaking: +50%
    Duur JAMX ability: + 50%
    Duur target marker:-20%
    Duur recon: +0%

    Cooldown ultimate cloaking: +0%
    Cooldown JAMX ability: +0%
    Cooldown target marker: +0%
    Cooldown recon: + 10%

    Apart from these changes I would also like a permanent change for the JAMX's cooldown (1 minute) though that might be to overpowered considering the cooldowns of the skill designs abilities.


    Ending:
    I hope that you get my points and that you agree with them but in the meantime im looking forward to your opinion about the elite designs and these changes. 1 thing's for sure: they look menacing! ;)
