Equip from inventory?

How do you equip an item from the inventory onto your ship? There does not seem to be a way to move an item from the inventory screen onto the ship screen. Why aren't ALL the items displayed on the ship screen?

 

Just drag the item across from the inventory bit onto the ship. If you want to move a lot of the same item (such as LF-3 etc) at once then hold down shift and click on the items, then hold down ctrl and click on them again.

The only items that will show is what you "own" and of that what is available for the ship or drones depending on what part you are looking at.

 

sometimes u have to be in port to change certain items

 

You can change things on your shortcut bar anywhere but if you want to change things on your ship, you either have to be at x-1 or x-8 base or at your clans cbs.

Drendle1, If you are referring to moving an item from the back page to the game screen, this cannot be done. You must move the item while on the back page. Also, there is no need to click the "Inventory" link to move items to the ship, in case this is more to what you were referring to. All equip-able items are displayed when the Inventory screen is in the minimized position. The Inventory link is there to show all items (Ammo, CBS parts, etc.) that you posses, but are not equip-able to the ship.
