Event FAQ lies or it is glitch?

I just was killed again by a perfectly healthy player that shot me with infection ammo and got me infected. So the way I see it either the information provided in the FAQ is wrong or it is a glitch and it is being exploited by players for gaining points in the event. Which one is it?

 

And what's wrong about that? You can use PIB even if you're healthy and the player you shoot at becomes infected...Is that really so hard to understand?

 

It says Infected players can only use the ammo. Is that so hard to read?

 

Currently it does say Infected players, However both non-infected and infected can us this ammo.

I am contacting a higher member to see if this is as intended or a glitch. If it is as intended.. I will repair the FAQ.

Can you also let us know here what actions you are going to take? If it is a glitch (as I am certain to be) how do you plan to punish those that exploited it? Hint: It does give them points if they infect us for the event and this is an unfair advantage. Not to mention that they reduce our hitpoints and slow us down for much more than 5 seconds if we don't die by than and EMPs are also not working.

The point he's making is that the FAQ says you can only spread the infection if you are infected. Pretty sure that's the way it's supposed to work and is glitched. Just as it also has been stated you can only buy the stuff in shop if you are infected and that's not working right either; you can buy it whether infected or not.

It would be pretty tough to accuse everyone of exploiting a glitch when many players never bothered reading the FAQ in the first place to know how it's supposed to work.

 

I have contacted a higher member of support and I miss read the information that was given to me. The ammo and mines are available for all to use. So I have corrected the FAQ to read properly.

I am sorry for the mis-information.

Yes, I would like to ask another question, regarding the event FAQ on another matter. In the FAQ it says that the bosses will spawn after killing a certain ammount of small minions, but so far no one have ever seen the bosses to spawn. Will they spawn at a later date than the event starts? Or the number of minions that have to be killed is too big and our small server doesn't cover it due to low activity?

 

The Bosses will spawn at a later date as far as I am aware. This is part of the narration of the event. As far as I was informed this should be clear from the event mission texts. But I agree that the display in the event window may be misleading. We will clarify some issues with the up coming events.
