Event missions and poor timing on ICE-Meteoroid.

I noticed the ICE-Meteoroids are off and to do the event missions we need ice...Yes the ice spawns later "Tonight" but there`s the problem,it spawns while im at work...so I cant do these missions today, and or the day after since the ICE is off by 10pm.....

 

Bman, I have some good news. If, you aren't able to do the quest tonight, you can still do it later. You just won't be able to accept new event quests until the Icy one is complete. I logged on to another account of mine and the very first event mission was available to me. I was only able to accept the 2nd event mission once the first one was complete. Can a mod confirm this please? I don't want to give out wrong information.

 

I have heard that this will be the case.. Mod confirm please, but when is the next Icy time and how far behind will I be by that time... as I cannot do the next before this, current, quest is complete??
So am I going to being playing catchup till Christmas or beyond...!!
Does this affect whether or if I can be involved in the gate on the 11th December??

BDay/Christmas Gate(s) are available to everyone (Easy and Normal for players level 15+), regardless if you do the quests or not.
You won't be too far, just check the home page for the Icy times.

according to the backpage the icy are not available for at least a couple days.. and this is why I/we ask...(not only in this thread) about the ability to catch up.. and I also have asked if this affects the Achievements... it is a simple question and only requires a direct, but specific, reply..!

 

point im gathering is WHY DO DO YOU give a quest that a random player cant do at anytime ..quest are no loner important to me half of them take a year to do for instances nobody flys a nos anymore in x-3 maps ..so i think DO should just dump all the quest ..knuckleheads..

I just comfirmed this to be the case in my gb1 account. Now have to wait to play my US servers... sometime in the future...

 

Yes DO really did NOT think of the entire community on this event, clearly they only want the people that play at prime time to have all the rewards, i predict a higher number of players telling DO to go fly a kite and leave the game if they cannot relize that players have real life and other things that happen and can not all be on at that time, DO is losing players more and more and it is a shame that the people in charge only want to let those select players play the game!!!

Did we had icy today? i was waiting for it but nothing showed up on the homepage except for sector control, did anyway saw if it was under events? f

If it stays on only from 7pm to 10pm...( and lucky me, on all the days im working) Then I cant do any ice.....only get saturday and wednesday off lol...this game is soooo one sided.

 

Same here Bman, I'm at work during that time. Then again, I've seen nothing in forums talking about a potential reward for doing all of them, so not doing them might not be that big of a deal. But if there is a reward, I don't want to risk not doing the quests...this is a predicament.

 

I don't know why they put up quests for NPCs that are only available for a limited amount of time. I'm still kind of unclear if I can access quests from previous days (they're not all showing up) as I've already missed a day due to not being on at the right time. Oh well.

 

I like crushing ice-meteoroids..its good creds and uri.And since I cant play much rite now it would be a nice boost to my reserves so I could buy some boosters and ammo to use on my days off

 

this thread and some others seem to have a similar theme... but I have to notice that there is no input from the FMs/// wonder why.. I waited!

 

You have to finish the preceding quests before you can see/get access to the latest ones.
