Event quest are so lame now

The last couple events the quest are not thought through it seems todays have to get the kill to count for quest on DF. Hmmm so many hitting it doesn't even go a 1/4 map on my server most of the time, and i need to get 2 of the kills and it seems they only spawn about every 20 mins if thats the case 3 an hour a lot going to get this quest done. i've helped kill 5 so far today and buddy told me got to get the actual kill.

I personally liked it when all i had to do is kill regular npcs and such but now got to PVP when if you're not UFE good luck getting 20 kills in one day so you can do the next days quest before it expires i for one shoot to get the achievements from the events and lately i would have to dump a couple hundred in the game just to do the quest that the rewards are too low anyhow so my choice is dump $ into getting trash for rewards of say screw events all together

DO whoever you listening to for the direction you're going the last couple years fire them most of your players are working on getting UFE and holding most events that anyone but UFE can't do is not going to build your customer base. Those that are already fully UFE or close to UFE use these events for bait to hunt those trying to grow in the game and event after event thats all i see is lets get the FEs in one place so our UFEs can get easy kills. A pvp game and only community events is just a sorry excuse for trying to hide how dead the servers have gotten. Time after time i see people quitting because of a mentality like this.

Instead think about your up and comers those trying to grow in the game give them options too i used to get excited about events because of the quest that come with them gave me something to work on other than the grind of the usual. Now i have to login to see if its even possible without chucking a hundred into game for like i said before nothing worth my hard earned money as i see yet. Now if i could get an LF4 for killing 20 golies then thats something that could be fun and worth a couple bucks but 3 k ish uri crap for exp and couple booty keys give me some incentive. same goes with the gate spins 50 gate spins is 5 k uri less then an hour for even a FE to make. I can grind and get more then what i need to spend cash on to even achieve.

For an easier way to get the progression for that event quest is to make an outfit for everyone who is going to shoot the freighter beforehand. As long as it's one of the members of the outfit who shoots it first, all the members will get the recognition for the kill towards the mission.

 

not my point how many noobs are going to get in a team that has a chance to get the kill i could im far from noob but this is like a stab at new players hell even most FEs.

now look at the quest for sunday gotta kill 15 players in the battle maps and then 5 DFs great rewards a herc nice and very surprising reward makes me want to spend now but. what about all the new players that have a hard time getting a kill let alone 15 and if i cash up are the freighters going to be lock dependent again not worth the chance got very little time to complete it nd 3 freighters an hour nah ill take my chances with a gate

good try though DO just got to make game more noob friendly or its going to die

 

another DO fail someone does need to start thinking for a change, cause their sure not that bright. i'm just above FE and for the week I've only gotten five kills total. so 20 kills in one day excludes me from the event, makes you think if i don't spend cash i don't matter

 

just ask caple ppl to help you with it, you can help them same way and every ones happy

 

who was crying about bad event mission rewards? At least i have never saw any mission, where you can get hercules design for free. And today is the day, when players have a possibility to make it and get that design! It was hard, but still possible to finish.

 

All you people who say Its possible need to remember what its like being a non UFE/FE player. These events are aimed squarely at UFE players and sod the rest, make an outfit? dont make me laugh you just get popped off em just as quick.
