FAQ – Kristallon Apotheosis

General
The goal is to defeat NPCs on maps X-2 through X-8 to earn event points. Higher-level maps grant greater point rewards. Once the total point target is reached, boss portals will unlock on maps 1-1, 2-1 and 3-1 for the ultimate showdown.

The epic boss, Emperor Kristallon, evolves across three distinct phases. The battle escalates in difficulty with each stage, putting your fleet’s positioning, tactical awareness, and teamwork to the ultimate test!

Kristallon Apotheosis
Here’s how it works:
This is a server-wide recall event. Players on the same server defeat NPCs collectively to earn points. Once the server point progress bar is full, a newly unlocked portal will give players access to challenge the Boss.

There’s a preparation phase and the opening times of the event are as follows. The event runs on a weekly cycle. Every Sunday, all server-wide collection progress, personal reward claim counts, and weekly damage rankings are reset.

The event is open Monday to Saturday during the following time slots (LST):

• 08:00-10:00
• 14:00-16:00
• 20:00-22:00

During these 2-hour windows, you need to defeat the event NPCs (that spawn randomly across X-2 to X8) to earn progress points. The higher the map, the higher the progress points that can be earned. All progress points are counted to fill the progress bar. If the progress bar is filled within the allotted time, the boss Jump Gates will spawn on map 1-1, 2-1 and 3-1, and any remaining event NPCs will be automatically despawned.

If the progress bar is not filled within the allotted time, the Boss Gate will not appear.

Boss Gate
You can click the gate to enter the boss challenge. There is no level limit and entry is free.
The Boss Fight instance channel has a capacity of 20 players. When this capacity is reached the 21st player will be allocated to a second instance, and so forth. For grouped players, the system will prioritize allocating the entire squad into the same instance channel, provided the target instance has sufficient available capacity.

If a player gets disconnected during the boss fight, the system will attempt to reconnect them back into their original instance channel. If the original instance is no longer available, the player will be reallocated to a new instance.

The Boss shares a single HP pool across all instance channels on the same server. Before the Boss, the Emperor Kristallon, spawns, there will be a 5-minute waiting period, allowing players to enter the boss gate.

The Boss fight itself is limited to 30 minutes, on timeout, the Boss leaves and the server challenge fails.

• The Boss randomly selects targets in the arena
• If you die, this doesn’t mean that the entire challenge failed. You can revive and return to the fight
• The rewards are distributed based on player participation after successfully defeating the Boss

The Boss fight is divided into 3 phases:

1. Origin Emperor Kristallon with known mechanics appears
2. An Emperor Kristallon Variant with 2 new skills appears
3. Another Emperor Kristallon Variant appears with another 2 new kills appears (the appearance remains unchanged; Justinia the Wise only shows up as an indicator)

All players jump into a shared map to attack a central boss. You play in a dedicated PvE environment where PvP interactions are prohibited.

The damage dealt by each player is recorded and ranked. At the end of each battle, players that contributed the most will get additional rewards.

New Titles & Achievements
Obtain new permanent titles when entering the Top 10 server ranking and for inflicting damage:

New Items
Apotheosis Booty Key
The Apotheosis Booty Keys are given out as a Last Hit Reward, via Rankings, and via Payment.

Apotheosis Box
After the Boss is defeated, 20 Apotheosis Boxes will randomly appear on the map; an Apotheosis Booty Key is required to open them.

Battle Participation Rewards
The Battle Participation Rewards records the damage of all players in a single boss fight, and the damage value accumulates to unlock the participation rewards.

The player and teammates who kill (the final blow) the boss will receive the Final Blow Reward:

Battle Pass Rewards

You can earn points by completing daily, weekly, and seasonal missions during the event and you can claim rewards upon reaching specific point milestones.

Please note: All players can immediately unlock rewards for the Free Pass tier.
And you can complete the recall missions via the “Return of Hero” event to unlock rewards for the Return Pass tier.

Rewards for the VIP Pass tier can be unlocked via purchase.


Return of Hero
We’ve warmed up your thrusters and refueled your favourite ship. She’s waiting at the hangar, all systems operational and ready. Here’s a little something to make that first launch a little easier. The stars are calling, pilot. We’re glad to have you back!

Every single active player owns an exclusive invitation code which he can use to bond with 10 returnees. Each returnee can only bond to one active player within the same server.

If you are a returnee, you have quests during this event (for returnees only). Also the active players you bond to get rewards on your activity. They get new booty keys when the returnees complete their tasks. The returnees will have both – new booty keys and items as rewards.

Please note: This “Return of Hero” event is only available on the Unity client!

Important: Returnees must be bonded with active players in 24 hours the moment they login to activate the task.

New item: Returnee Key
Active players will receive the same amount of Returnee Keys as the returnee (every time the returnee gets the Returnee Key via completing their task). Example: If a returnee completes a task and receives 2 Returnee Keys, the active player the returnee bonds with will receive 2 Returnee Keys too.
