FAQ - Trinity Trials

Executive Summary:

What is the feature about?

Trinity Trials is a new gate that you can play like the Galaxy Gates where you need to clear several waves of the NPCs to get rewards.

There are two new gameplay maps: Hellfire Arena and Genome Arena.

- From the Hellfire Arena, you can obtain thermal particle cannons and refractors as rewards.
- From the Genome Arena, you can obtain corrosive particle cannons and refractors as rewards.

In Trinity Trials, you obtain the rewards just by completing every 5 waves of combat. The rewards also include pass points for the Trinity Pass which you can use to upgrade the pass level and claim corresponding rewards.

During combat, you can also obtain Quantum Prism which can be used to upgrade the Orbital Sweeper Module in Trinity Trials – it increases the probability of obtaining more powerful equipment.

General Information:
The gate is open the whole day, but the maps will rotate daily during the event.

- Hellfire Arena: opening on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- Genome Arena: opening on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays

Both maps are open on Sundays.

You can find the Trinity Trial gate on X-1 and X-8 maps. You can only enter the map alone. If you enter it in a group, you may still proceed individually, but other members of the group won’t be taken into the instance.

Each map allows one free challenge attempt per day, which will reset at 00:00 server time. After your free attempts are used, you can purchase additional Trinity Tokens from the shop to enter the map. There’s no limit on the number of times that these Trinity Tokens can be used.

If you are still inside the map from the previous day at 00:00, the rewards will still be distributed according to the map selected by the player on the previous day.

How do the mechanics on the Trinity Trial map work?

You can find the event window button in the menu bar. There are multiple windows included:

• Trinity Pass window: It shows the privileges and rewards of the Trinity Pass
• OS Module window: You can check the current quality drop rates within the window and perform upgrades on the OS Module
• Difficulty Details window: It displays the unlock requirements for different difficulties and the number of equipment dropped at each difficulty level.
• Map Entry Window: When you click on the portal, this window will open. Within this window, you can select and adjust available map types and difficulties.

The Trinity Trial gate presents two maps:

• Hellfire Arena: Forged in the fires of a dying sun, this molten planet is a labyrinth of magma rivers and crumbling obsidian cliffs. Survivors must withstand searing temperatures and volatile geothermal eruptions to salvage ancient alien tech fragments.
• Genome Arena: The air pulses with the effects of alien bioweapons, forcing players to evolve adaptive defense systems - perfect for countering the foes’ symbiotic combat tactics.

There are different waves of NPCs appearing on the maps.

The NPC Pyrospire and Vinespire will have new behavior AI:

• Pyrospire: Pyrospire will launch a rocket at a target within a 700 range, slowing it by 50%, but causing no damage. When the slow effect on the target wears off, it will re-launch the rocket.
• Vinespire: Vinespire will release an area healing effect on surrounding NPCs every 10 seconds, restoring 2% of their maximum HP, with the healed HP not exceeding their original HP cap.

Additionally, Pyrospire and Vinespire will take 40% reduced damage from laser attacks.


Difficulty Levels and OS Module:

Each map is divided into 5 difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert, and Nightmare. The unlocking of different difficulties depends on the level of the OS module.

The difficulty affects the quantity of dropped equipment.

In the equipment reward, the chance to obtain a particle cannon or a refractor is always 95% and 5%. For example, in difficulty 1, there is 60%*95% chance to get a particle cannon or 60%*5% chance to get a refractor.


Orbital Sweeper Module:

In Trinity Trials, the quality of dropped equipment is not fixed. By upgrading the Orbital Sweeper Module (OS Module), the probability of obtaining higher-quality equipment drops can be increased.

To upgrade the OS module, you need the new Quantum Prisms. The upgrade process takes a certain amount of time, which can be skipped by using Xyraliths.

The Quantum Prisms and Xyralith will not be removed after the event

You need this to upgrade the OS module. You can get it only via Trinity Trials


Xyralith
You need this resource to skip the upgrade process time for the OS module. You can get it via Trinity Trials or our payment.

Trinity Token

You get them via payment, and they grant access to the gate after the free attempt is used up.


Trinity Pass:

The new Trinity Pass includes a free pass and a VIP pass.

Each player’s initial pass level is level 0, with a maximum level of 40. For every 5 waves completed in Trinity Trials, you will earn a certain amount of pass points to upgrade your pass level.

VIP Pass:

In addition to the Trinity Pass, you can purchase the VIP Pass. Upon purchase, the rewards and privileges of the VIP Pass will be unlocked for the duration of the event.

• Get 2 additional free entries for each map every day

• Receive an additional 10% pass points

• Gain 20% damage bonus in Trinity Trials
