Fetch capability for P.E.T

  1. When we are collecting palladium or bonus boxes with pet sometimes it just sits next to you if there is nothing to collect on your screen, yet the pets range mean that it should hardly ever stop collecting.

    Example, pet sits next to me so i wait for 30 secs for stuff to spawn but its still sat next to me so i fly literally for 2 seconds and it starts collecting again - well within most pet ranges.

    To that end i suggest a "fetch" function where you select "fetch" from the dropdown pet menu and click it, it will stay highlighted until you click a destination on the minimap.

    The pet will then fly in looter/resource collector mode and will come across spawned resources/bonus boxes and continue to do what people paid for it to do.

    For the pet to just stop collecting is unfair as it should be collecting within range, ranges for pet function will be based upon players pet gear - 2000 radar = 2000 fetch.

    This function should be for free and stop players wasting valuable fuel when pet doesnt do its job. On a final note, fetch should only be used as a collection method NOT PVP as it will get abused massively.

    I was one of the players who petitioned to have kami cool down in place, and i stand by that.

    I think this is a fair request and a good idea.
     
  2. ehh, one time I was boxing with the bonus pretty xmas boxes, but my pet picked up boxes closest to me, not the pet itself like it normally does, so one time I was boxing, and the pet was about to pick up a box, it cancel it's target and comes to the box I was picking up, which was already picked by me. Pet and AI are dumb, but I believe DO has the capability to find the bug and TERMINATE it, yet DO has not done so yet.
     
  3. Yeah the kami is bugged too, takes way too long to compute what its been requested to do, really annoying in gates.

  5. Kami isnt fine dude, needs fixing especially when ur getting hit with 250K + on gamma bk's and pet sitting there picking its nose.
     
  6. You don't drag the BK's around, you circle it and need the right timing. I had kami before, too OP, if you want it to stick to people then we will not be able to dodge people kami's.
    Reminder- this is not a freaking game with just gates, its a PVP game, and kami on players is OP already! Let us have the ability to dodge the kami! This thread is nothing more than a update on reducing the time it takes to pop another person, where's the fun in that? The range and boxing capabilities however should be changed! pallying is easier than boxing with dumb pet that cant box.
     
  7. The kami is activated once you are hit. 'Stand at the ready.' KaBLAmmo!' :eek: I mentioned once before that the PET needs a brain cuz it won't move unless you do too :rolleyes: to collect the stuff.

    meh I just use Ice rockets now if I want to keep something in place. Its nearly instant but less of a delay than without Ice rockets.
     
  9. i think that's hard to code since they should completely rework the range function and that applies to many other minor function, not impossible but takes time
