Fix the PET kill

    I click and shoot down my own PET. It's my dam PET. Why do I keep getting negative honor for shooting down my own PET? I cannot even begin to tell you how much honor I have lost shooting down my own PET.

    FIX it.

    And don't you dare tell me to be more careful. I have 38 enemy ship kills and 38 friendly ship kills mainly by mislock. So unless you're coming out with a seeing eye space dog this is as good as it gets. :(

    This is a feature of the PET that is not something that is going to be fixed at this time. As players have the option of the use of the Kamikaze which destroys the pet in an explosive manner killing multiple npc's surrounding it.

    I am sorry you are having issues, and I won't tell you to be more careful... as that is something you already know. :rolleyes: I will say that if you are in maps that have smaller NPC's you might consider putting him away as to not not mistake the PET for an NPC... But that is merely a suggestion.

    Actually have had times when i could not get my pet to work -- bugged up. I do all the stuff then if i shoot it. sometimes it resets after the kill, sometimes not. Like most things in the game....buggy as heck.

    Well the PET does have its issues as it experiences the same lag as your ship. However the original request to make it where players cannot shoot there own pet... is not something that is currently going to happen.
