Problem is rank points have gone up and up and up making it harder for newer and older players to get ranks at all with people having 80% honor boosters or something esle while doing gates it becomes extremely difficult to get any rank worth while

Since you already changed the ranking system once i do not see any reason why shouldnt it be changed once again.

If you get back on track with 10 + k company members once again then you can change to old ranking system, but use this new one when below 10 K players per company.

With Darkorbit reloaded ranks should be boosted, boost boost boost, and hopefully you will attract more players to join this very expensive game and get it back on track.

Ranks are very important and if you want to keep players playing you must give us something in return.

With 2000 € for virtual spaceship me thinks we should be able to compete, without having to sink 100 € per month just to be competitive.

Like everyone else, i agree with everything but the General. That should stay as one per company. The rest of the ranks definitely need a significant increase in percentage to be viable these days. I for sure support there being a minimum number of each rank per company.
As some have said, the amount of rank points needed to get anywhere these days is ridiculous. At 103rd on the server, i'm only a Major. I'm currently sat at just under 1.3m rank points quite a bit a day, but chief maj is still running like the wind. Way back when (and yes i'm talking ancient times in the first 2-3 years of the game. Before most of your times) i was basic general with somewhere around 200k points. These days, i don't even think that's a basic captain. Tells you a little something about the lower number of players. Especially as ranks sometimes go up by over 200k in a night (In other words it can jump an '08 basic gen in 24 hours).
