for tech forums please about config shield

every time i log on im either 317k shield or when i log out and log on another time im 280k something wrong and its nothing to do with boosters and its all on same config as well its also happened to some on clan members so can u please have alook into this ty

 

Well, I would ask are you continually using the same ship. As this could make a difference. I would also say that you may not have a booster, but have you considered the shared boosters that may be effecting you. As you could have had the increase shielding from a shared booster and then logged out and when returned that extra is not there. That would also occur if you jumped a portal.

However we have investigated and did not find anything wrong with the account.

Your connection timing out could also be a possible cause, if someone comes near you with a shared booster, and your shield increases somewhat (even between your base Shield and the new Shield value as it counts upwards), if you lose connection and not realise or until the client realises, you could be seeing the value of which it was at at the point of connection loss.

On relog you would obviously see the base Shield value, as the ship (as far as the server is concerned) is still active and connected, so it increases or decreases the shield value based on events around it.
