Can you please explain to me why you seem to think you have answered my question and closed both of my threads when you have not actually answered it at all ?
When we make a new account the only option we have is to choose which language ! there is no option to select which server it will be out of gb1 or gb2 this is only available once you are on the homepage which no new player will know about so therefore my question still stands and that is -

Which server out of gb1 or gb2 to all newly registered players get automatically directed to by the system ?

Its a prety simple question and i dont understand why you find it hard to give a straight answer , your original reply does not in any way answer this question , also im not here to argue i just want an answer so im not doing anything wrong .

 

You can select it at the top of the page once the account is made..

All I explained was the server growth can be driven by players time zone with which they are comfortable with (if they don't have designated servers for their country) and also through friend request etc.
So coming back to your question the players can choose what server they want to play on even though they are put in any random servers, they can always select the change server from the drop down menu. The server of their choice will determine any servers population. I get that some people would just start playing on a server they were put into by default selection through IP address. Also by default its not putting people into GB1 or GB2, the server selection is happening on basis of IP.
Example:
If you live in London it would most likely put you on GB1 or GB2 but the case might different for a person living in USA. Also players who doesn't have designated sever for their location will be put into global serves.

Note: This is what I observed so far and my opinion might differ from others.

Do you (the original poster) have any further questions or can we close?

 

Lol i know that thats why i already mentioned it above but i want to know which server the system puts all new players who select great britain when they make a new account ? new players will not know about changing servers and will simply carry on with the server that the system placed them on . I tested it the other day with a new account and the system put me on gb2 so if thats the case with all new starters who select great britain well then just how is gb1 meant to get new players ?

 

Can close thanks i was just trying to figure out why there is no new starters on gb1 as our lowers maps are completely empty of new players !
