Full screen mode

My space map will not stay in full screen mode.
I click on icon , then click on accept.
After a min or two it switches back to standard mode .

 

Have you checked to see if you have done the following:
1. Updated Browser
2. Cleared Browser History and cache
3. Updated Java
4. Updated Flash player
5. Checked to see if your video card is capable of the full screen mode. As some older ones do not handle it well.

I hope that this gives you somewhere to start, as to finding a resolution to the screen issue.

Another issue could be if you are using multiple monitors or screens, and you are extending you desktop on those. I've noticed this issue while trying to play maximized on my main screen and have a facebook conversation on the 2nd screen. Everytime Flash Player lost focus it went back to it's windowed mode.
This issue doesn't seem to appear for a video on youtube if it is maximized on one of the monitors but only if it's in a playing state.
If you have the game maximized on a monitor and o the second one you have a video maximized (doesn't matter if it plays or not), and you switch focus between them none will get minimized and they will both keep their maximized state. This happens because the focus doesn't actually leaves the flash player, the focus stays within the same process, the focus switches the sandbox within the flash player itself.

 

This problem just started recently. I use both mozilla and opera for different accts..
I just un installed opera then re installed , problem persisted . So I will go back and check the suggestions you offered TY

Updated Flash player
re-installed both Mozilla and Opera
Video card is part of PC AMD Radeon 7560D gragphics;
but it used to work well , so I don't think that is the problem
Screen still changes back to standard mode

 

The only thing i can think about is some process or service trying to "steal" the focus, so flash player goes back to it's normal state. Check your task manager for processes that don't belong there or figure out what piece of software you've installed recently that could cause this problem, because it's at your end. Also, consider a deep virus scan or a boot scan to make sure there's no malware there, and clean your registry (search 'registry cleaner' on google).

 

Ran full scan with Norton and Root kit . Nothing found . I'm not familiar with checking processes but , will look into it . Meanwhile I have taken to placing back page on fullscreen via F11 . That enables space map FS mode without having to click on FS icon and/or allow.
Final alternative is to go to a restore point .

 

Performed system restore and that seemed to work .
So far so good . Pages acting normally again .
