    Changes

After the feedback from the last Galactic Strife event, we did some changes:
    • The Reputation system is adapted in a way that only players that fight on Galactic Strife maps (4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 4-4) can increase/decrease reputation
    • The Reputation system has slightly changed
    • The PvP Protection system has slightly changed
    • The “Reputation Fever” that you know from former events has been changed into “Fever” with special Fever Effects during selected hours each day
    • The rewards in the Battle Pass are updated and objectives can only be finished in Galactic Strife maps
    • There’s a new ship available with interesting skills
    • There are some new ship upgrade modules
    • There are some new ship designs
    • A new special ammunition awaits you
    • There are some new emotes and sprays

    General information

It’s time for an all-out PvP battle! Battle and win to gain Reputation, climb the ranks and get rewards during the Galactic Strife event.

In the beginning of the event, all players start with a Reputation score of 500. Whenever you win or lose in PvP battles, your Reputation will be affected. Your aim is to get the highest Reputation score in your server!

There are several Reputation Milestones: If you reach them for the first time, you are getting a reward package once.

The event rewards will be given out according to the highest final scoring of the players at the end of the event.

Take advantage of the different Fever Effects during selected hours each day! Enjoy boosts to ships and free repairs at your base or at the nearest gate if your ship is destroyed on Galactic Strife maps.

    PvP Protection

All aspects of PvP Protection will be the same like in the last events, except the following: The PvP Protection will be removed once you enter any of the Galactic Strife Maps!
If you loose reputation 3 times in a row within 60 minutes, you gain a PvP protection for 60 minutes. Please note that only players who have level 17 and below can get a PvP protection. When under PvP protection, you cannot be attacked by other players unless you attack someone else first.

If you gained a 60 minutes PvP Protection via dying 3 times in a row within 60 minutes inside a Galactic Strife map, the PvP protection will be removed when you exit the map and enter another Galactic Strife map. If you died and revived in a Galactic Strife map, your PvP Protection will continue. It only gets removed when you exit and enter another Galactic Strife map.

The PvP protection will be removed if a player in PvP protection uses the following items:
    - Mines such as ACM-01
    - Special ammunition such as EMP-01
    - Tech items such as BT-1, ECB-1, Chain Impulse

The PvP protection will also be removed if a player in PvP protection:
    - enters TDM, Training Ground, UBA, or Refraction Zone
    - shoots a Spaceball
    - captures a beacon (during Capture the Beacon / Sector Control event).

    Reputation System

In the beginning of the event, all players start with a Reputation score of 500. Whenever you win or lose in PvP battles, your Reputation will be affected. Your aim is to get the highest Reputation score in your server! The Reputation rank will remain below the players’s name during the event on all maps.

Only players level 6 and above can gain/lose reputation. Killing or being killed by players below level 6 does not affect your reputation points. But take note that killing players below level 6 will still affect your kill count, therefore affecting your reputation per kill points. Players below level 6 can still complete the Objectives in Galactic Strife.

This time, reputation can only be increased / decreased while fighting on Galactic Strife Maps: 4-1, 4-2, 4-3 and 4-4. If an opponent shot the player and left the Galactic Strife Map, it’s possible for the opponent to get reputation if the player died on the Galactic Strife Map. There are 2 important things to notice:
    1. The former 1.5x multiplier to Reputation gain/loss when fighting on the Galactic Strife maps will be removed in this event.
    2. The PvP protection that you gain if you lose reputation 3 times in a row within 60 minutes (see explanation of PvP protection) will not apply if a player dies on non Galactic Strife Maps!
The reputation will be calculated like the following:
    - If the player deals 80% of damage to the player that lost, then the reputation gained will only be 80%
    - Only the top 2 damage dealers to the player will get points
    - If any of the damage dealers deals less than 10% of the total damage, the player doesn’t get points.
The smaller the difference in reputation between you and your opponent, the more reputation you can gain! If the difference in Reputation is too large, it is possible you do not gain any points. Reputation gain also depends on the amount of damage dealt to the losing opponent. If there is more than one player attacking the losing player, only the top 2 damage dealers will gain Reputation (based on their damage dealt). If you deal too little damage, it is possible to not gain any Reputation. Targeting the same player repeatedly also reduces the Reputation gained each time you win.

    For example:
    • Player A has reputation 920 and Player B has reputation 900 -> the reputation difference is 20
    • If A wins, A will gain 30 reputation and B will lose 30 reputation.
    • Player C has reputation 1000 and Player D has reputation 500 -> reputation difference is 500
    • If C wins, C will gain only 10 reputation (less reputation compared to A's win) and D will lose 10 reputation.
Please note that numbers mentioned above are only an example to explain the system and are not accurate to the actual reputation awarded.

If the reputation difference is too large, it is also possible to not gain any points (and it will still affect your Reputation per Kill rank!)

Important note: Winning against the same player repeatedly in a short time span will lead to lower gains in reputation points.

    Fever

The former known “Reputation Fever” has been removed and with it also the double reputation gain. We are happy to introduce the new “Fever” with special fever effects.
Take advantage of the different Fever Effects during selected hours each day! Enjoy boosts to ships and free repairs at your base or at the nearest gate if your ship is destroyed on Galactic Strife maps.

The “Fever” takes places at the following times (all LST):

    - Saturday and Sunday: between 13:00 to 15:00 (2 hours) and 19:00 to 21:00 (2 hours)

If the ship is destroyed on the Battle Maps, it can be repaired for free in Home Base or at the nearest gate.

During each Fever Time slot, selected types of ships will have special buffs applied:

    Objectives & Battle Pass

Both the objectives and the rewards have been adjusted. They will be displayed within the game when opening the objectives.

Please note that all objectives can now only be completed on Galactic Strife maps (4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 4-4)

    New Ship: Retiarus

A new ship is available as a reward in the objectives: The Retiarus!

The Retiarus deals powerful one-shot burst damage through its three-pronged design, ensuring your victory in a single, decimating blow.

    Ship information

    · HP: 386,000
    · Nanohull: 277,500
    · Speed: 310
    · Laser Slots: 15
    · Generator Slots: 14
    · Special Slots: 3
    · Rocket Launchers: 1

    Skill: Charge Shot

Accumulates charges against a targeted ship while target is within range. Launches a huge destructive burst of damage when fully charge, or when the target moves out of range.

    - New target can be NPC/Player/P.E.T
    - Uptime: 30 sec
    - Cooldown: 240 sec
    - This skill cannot be interrupted by JAMX effect but the player can be prevented from using the skill by a JAMX
    - This skill cannot be cancelled by EMP-01
    - The skill will always be used on the original target that was set. Changing targets while the skill is charging will not result in the skill changing its target.
    - If the skill’s target is dead before the charge is fired, the skill immediately goes into cooldown.
    - If the Retiarus is under PvP Protection and starts using this skill, the Ritiarus is no longer under PvP Protection.
    Skill: Supercharge

    - Increases speed by 10%.
    - Uptime: 10 sec
    - Cooldown: 300 sec
    - This skill can be interrupted and prevented by JAMX effect.
    - If the Retiarus is under PvP Protection and starts using this skill, the Ritiarus will still be under PvP Protection (as it is not an attacking skill).

    New Ship Designs

There will be 2 new ship designs for the “Retiarus” coming together with the event:

    - Retiarus Neikos (available as a reward in the Reputation rank)
