    I'm sure a lot of you have had un-welcoming experiences with this game and have had to contact support or deal with mods in chat. As a well time devoting person in this game and in helping others and chating with everyone in chat I am shocked from the lack of care of the moderating team, as well as the support team. You can reply to this post with how to submit a ticket on a mod or support member that has treated you unfairly, but its just some copy and paste article you reply to everyone. " Thanks for caring, it means a lot that you couldnt put any emotion or empathy in your response". You people don't realize who reviews those tickets and cases, Support. I am thrown in a circle constantly with this games support staff which is supposedly "Friendly" and "Kind & Caring" If you guys as a company (And I am speaking to everyone who has a role in this games staff, weather you volunteer, or work on the support team, or if you write a bunch of 1's and X's that form some code to make my ship move when I want it to) truly want to make this an "Exciting & Incredible" experience for everyone, get to know the players who play your GAME. This game, I repeat! this GAME lacks a sense of any type of care for its players. I have played this game for many years, on multiple servers. I have made friends with every single player i have ever talked to on this game, weather it was in teamspeak, or through chat. I love playing this game to help others. It's a great feeling when they say "hey man i really appreciate you getting me as much credits as i need to get that new iris drone in auction. Thanks man!". If i could I would give out lasers, ammo, anything anyone needs because i have so much of that stuff on my ship that i don't use. I like to give back to my community as well as the gaming community that I have spent countless hours with. It is disappointing to what this games staff has come to. It seems like you volunteers and the support staff dissipate just a bit more each day. To add on to that, they become more and more un-friendly each day. It's to the point where i don't even log onto the game more than 2-3 times a week now. The mods are biased as they are players on this game. Support doesn't help with anything cause those mods know support. Its just all corrupt. This game is crumbling slowly.

    As our batteries out here are dying this will most likely be our last message in our existence. If anyone out these is listening, we are here fainting.... slowly in the orbits of the planets. Please If you can hear me.....Please send help.

    I agree with a lot of what you said but this will probably be closed as a rant. Unfortunately many people share your feelings and often they express them not to rage on mod team or support but to try and highlight what they feel is clearly wrong with the game in the hope that it can be fixed.

    It's not so much a game as a business and as long as people continue to pay for the services they stick to the business model which appears to prefer a lower number of high spenders to a higher number of low spenders.

    So many good ideas on the forums that would improve the gaming experience and help retain newer players seem to be just ignored in favour of maintaining the current course of business as usual. Seems we're destined for the cubikon graveyard, sad.

    Hello,

    mapexman86;

    To begin, I am saddened to hear you feel we lack for caring about this game, and the community. For myself, and I know many others - if not all - of this team, we found ourselves here because we care about this game. We're here to help the best we can, but admittedly, no amount of me or any member of this team telling you all that is going to change any minds by itself.

    However, I would hope that all whom you do not feel are taking time, or heart, for this, have the opportunity to possibly change your mind someday.

    Now that said, you've taken the opportunity to say that there are moderators acting with bias. There is no room to handle accusations levied at the moderator team, or complaints, in chat or in forums. While we take them seriously, it's not up to us to decide "in-house", and yes, these things need to go to support. & No, I'm afraid this isn't up for discussion.

    You mention that it seems we dissipate more each day. I won't deny you that, but I won't go without raising a counter either. We have not hidden at all that we're actively looking for new moderators to help the community. However, that does not mean everyone can or would be accepted either.
    Also, not everyone wants to be a moderator. They see what goes on in chat, or in forums and don't want to be on the receiving end. That's more than fair enough, this isn't for everyone. Moderators volunteer their time, but that doesn't mean they have all the time in the world either. Things happen, life takes us away, but we're here as we can, and we would like to play the game too. After all, that's what brought us all together to begin with.

    We can't hang out in teamspeak with all of you, and we can't fly around helping players directly in the spacemap. It's not feasible to do for everyone, and that's not fair, so we don't do it. So while you can help players directly, in teamspeak, in the maps doing quests and all else, you have that advantage on us. But that doesn't mean what we're doing is worth any less, or any less helpful for players.

    whoeva;

    You are right, while this is a game, it is a business. Gaming is a business, while remains a game for us on this side of the fence.

    Yes, many wonderful ideas are promoted around the forums, in chat, and I'm sure some are sent right to support. That doesn't mean they're all feasible though, or as terrific in practice as they are on paper. Add the time it takes to see how it might fit into the grand of scheme to begin with, then to prepare it, and it becomes a whole other story.

    That doesn't mean DO doesn't hear you, or trying to see how things might work, but it will take time. Unfortunately, time isn't always our favorite ally while we wait for brighter times ahead.

    Now, with that in mind...

    Yes, applications for moderators are open. It is volunteer, we aren't paid, we aren't always the lightest person in the room at the time, and sometimes we have to put an end to the fun because it isn't quite within the guidelines and the rules. But, we're also genuinely trying to help, and we want you to know that. This isn't an "us vs them", we are all in this together, and whether on the moderating team or not, I think together we can make this safe and fun for everyone.

    Yes, all complaints regarding the moderator team and anything in regards to acting with bias, etc, has to go to support. There's no debate, it isn't for us to handle here.

    Complaints about support, really, go to support as well. As for another supporter if you rather, but we answer to support and support as the final say. We can't handle complaints on them either.

    And finally, yes, I will be closing this, as a rant. We do hear you, but I will hope you hear us as well. We want to help make this better for you all, truly, that is all.

    Regards,
    -Closed-
