Announcement Game language switch for Dutch players

    Dear Space Pilots,

    We would like to inform you that as of 23.05.2025, the Dutch language version of DarkOrbit will no longer be available. Instead, the default language for players from the Netherlands will be set to English.

    Before making this decision, we carefully reviewed player activity and found that the number of active users in the Dutch language version is unfortunately below the required threshold to sustain the game in this language. In order to balance player enjoyment with internal resource efficiency, this change is necessary.

    The good news: your existing game account will of course remain fully accessible – you can continue to play DarkOrbit as usual. The only change is that the language setting will now default to English.

    We know that many of you already use the English version regularly, and we are confident that this change will have only a minor impact on your gameplay experience.
