Games takin a turn for the worst..

well i pay and work on my account.. and if theres an auto locker and you say something in chat the cm tells me to take time outta my day to send to suppert about it... well for one im here to play not find your damn cheats.. its your job not mine and its a stupid rule not to be able to call someone out if there cheating -_- just stupid if ya ask me and then i get banned for even saying its not my job -_- start paying me and ill start sending to support... where the hell did the police ships at?? back in the day they would fly around and check on ships and what not but now you guys clearly dont care about your players.. took 3 years to get rid of the bots and its going to take you guys another 3 years just to fix the game? stupid

 

i think what should happen lol is double NPC rewards and maybe new players start out with all the old fe gear maybe? 8 iris, 30 lf3, 30 bo2s etc just so it gives new players a chance. that way more people will play

 

If you are complaining that a CM told you to contact support then you have some lack of knowledge of what a CM is.

A CM (chat moderator) is a volunteer staff member who monitor activity on the chats and make sure the chats are clean. They do not have any admin powers and cannot do anything about the game. They are no different than you and me and cannot get information faster than me or you.

That CM gave you the best advice he can give you since support are the only people who can do anything about the cheats.

Also, the best defense against hackers and cheats are reports made by the players since there are thousands of players and only a few dozen staff.

If you rely only on forum or chat staff to get rid of hacks, then they will never get rid of them.

 

meh say what you will.. i know what a chat mod is.. its the people that come into chat and start banning people for no reason.. like for spelling mistakes or not proper sentences -_- ya i know what a chat mod is

 

Seems to me that the problem here isnt the CM... The cheats are the problem and cheats dont play alone... without their friends they would soon get bored and go and cheat on another game!
Is this too simple?

 

just not fair to the people that pay to play. so your saying i gotta wait till they get bored for it to be a fair game?? lol took them 3 to 4 years just to get rid of bots that ruined the hole game for years to come -_-

 

To me it seems like you have negative experience with a single staff member and now you are trying to blame all of then for things out of their control.

If you have issues with someone banning you from chat, you could report that staff member and they could get removed from staff. Even if you do not know who did your ban, the ban panel will tell the boss of that CM who banned you.

If you do not like something, do something about it instead of coming on the forums and blaming cheats on the volunteers.

The cheats are a problem of the game developers. The developers are not even on the forums or in chat. The only way to get a chance of talking to them is through email or a phone number. Other than that, you are talking to players.

 

hmmm I dont think that is what I said... VintageAion has hit the nail on the head... Support need to know about your feelings... preferably with proof... Chat Mod is CM, they can advise but they have no more control over the game than you or I...

and as to fair... cheating is never fair and that is why I dont do it... the game suffers from the friends of the cheats as much as the cheats themselves... try to be a part of the solution ¤βŁÂŽ€¤[3ŘĐ] maybe things will happen faster... complaining is not productive

 

Guys, if you have a problem, quit complaining and start reporting.
Take out a video recording program and record what's going on, and send it to support.
If you can't record, just send a message to support and request them to investigate the player. And they do go after hacker/cheater that you report, I have gotten 2 or 3 auto lockers banned before.

 

OP, do not trust CMs, simple as that.

 

The issue is that often people accuse players of cheating when they are not. There's a bunch of people on my server that are convinced I cheat cos I'm able to lock them off their screen due to me having a higher resolution than them. This is why the chat rule says you can't accuse players although it is annoying that some do appear to be cheating and nothing being done about it.

It isn't the job of the cm to police the maps, only the chat, but I do feel that game admins could have a look in the maps from time to time. Pretty obvious when you get locked from way out of range by anything other than a spear...

 

This game is totally corrupted through (friend of a friend) etc! I recently had to send support my Passport identification to prove I am who I say I am, a day or so later I had some player in chat saying that I look so ignorant, I asked, what do you mean I look ignorant, are you saying you can see ignorance in my writing, I hope you don't mean what I think you do, or I will have you permanently banned. You don't even know me in real life? no reply at all, the player went silent.

I immediately contacted support with my concern over this player having access to my support information, I'm still waiting for a response from support over this matter.

Don't want to disappoint you mate but a random player saying that in chat doesn't mean in anyway that there is some big corruption and they got to see your passport from support. People insult others in chat all day every day by making assumptions on what someone might look like. If I went and called someone a fat waste of space in global chat and they happened to be fat it doesn't mean that I actually saw what they looked like.
If you really did actually report this to the ICO it will be thrown out on lack on evidence.

that's true, our Job isn't to detect the cheaters and bot user but still if you see any and you sure they are using a program to play the game you can help support find them by sending their names or a video proof.
About the Chat CMs got rules to follow so complaining about theme is just no sense, all they do is follow the rules and rules say that speaking about cheats or accusing players is not allowed

 

Wasnt there a post somewhere a while back saying things could be talked about in chat in regards to the above, or was that botting?

 

The previous posts are correct in as much as they, the CMs, have rules to follow... if a player has a grievance then they need to air it with support or in the Chat room in Forum...
