  1. This idea would address the frustration players feel when completing either Epsilon, Zeta or Kappa gate without getting the big rewards for those gates. This idea would only work on the individually piloted gates, not Hades.

If a player completes a gate and does not receive an LF-4 from Epsilon or a Havoc from Zeta or either an LF-4 or Hercules from Kappa then a modifier would go in place to complete the next gate of that type. The first failed attempt would lower the parts needed to build the next gate by 5%. If chance goes against that player for second time in a row the modifier increases to 10% fewer parts needed, up to 25% for five failed attempts in a row. If the player has really crappy luck and has more failed attempts the modifier remains in place at 25%. Once the player gets his LF-4 or drone design the modifier is reset to 0 and all parts are needed to build the next gate.

This will help ease the frustration of failure, while also keeping the chance there.

No, chances to get a havoc, lf4, hercules, saturn design are weak but fair...

I know a guy that did 16 kappa for 10 herc
I know one that did 50 for 10 herc..

    Just need to have luck..

  3. lol luck isn't an actual thing though is it?? players can't go out and get some so they can do gates lol.

  4. I see the frustration you have, but I really believe posted probabilities(that worked) would solve player frustration much better. Perhaps something like, 1st kappa gives an LF4, 2nd, multi-booster, 3rd nothing, and 4th a herc, repeated in that order. Zeta should have an actual 33% chance(stated on the gate or in the Gate FAQ somewhere) of a havoc and epsilon should have an actual 33% chance of an LF4.
