gate resuming

as i had been playing i saw that when you close your window or your internet falls your ship stays in the map in consequently gets destroyed.. is annoying, but is fair.. if it wouldn't be for that players would just log off by closing the window so they don't get destroyed. but, why to do it in the gates and waves? that is stupid and Unnecessary there is not advantage in logging off during a gate! seriously, i really like dark orbit just like you... but this problems can make upset whichever of us, why not just the game saves so when we log on again we can continue the gate or wave we were on.

i had tried already the last cold wave 7 times because my internet falls and i have to start all again.

This has been like this since the game first came out. When you close your tab, it does not log you off. As you said yourself, if it does log you off when you close the tab, people can just use it to prevent themselves from dying. And why does it matter for the galaxy gate? Because of the same reasons. IF someone just closes the tab to "stop" the game because they know they are about to die, then all they have to do is go to Galaxy gate spins to roll their energies to gain HP so they won't die.

I would agree with VintageAion, if there was in game function which would let the players save their game if they got disconnected or by closing the window then it would have been exploited by many players which is not right, so the present system in place and how it works is better.

Do you (the original poster) have any further questions or can we close?

 

Before we close, I would like to say that gates go really well for me, play near server restart, and bam all the aliens destroyed when you relog, hopefully this cheatsheet stays, everyone else gets other cheats, fix those first. But yes I was too lazy to do skoll and so I played near server restart. If people lag out during regular gates or lose internet connection, they can write a ticket to support and maybe support gives you a life back (once a month only!!) skoll gate gives you 20, I don't see how you cant finish it even if you lag a lot or loose internet connection. If so, I suggest you stop spending money on BP, and spend in on your internet provider to get better internet? c:
