GB1 Issue

GB1 is still not up and running, even at midnight.

This leads to a very interesting scenario/situation.

Apparently (judging from the Announcement made in the Forums), the quests are due to be removed on Wednesday 2nd April 2014. As GB1 has had this giant of a mess that had prevented lots of players from logging in due to some fantastic & stupendous Server problem, will players on GB1 be given extra time to finish off their quests. I have some open along with another couple which I could have finished within a day. These are the high level quests & amount to something in excess of 200 million EP (using EP booster, 10% EP design & 5% EP Barrage formation).

I have not bothered to include the honor, uridium or credits gained as rewards for these quests nor those gained from the npcs. I have also not bothered to include the losses from Spaceball either.

Another important point being missed is that many players do work for a living & the only time they get during the week to play is in the evening. How are these players supposed to finish their quests?

The other issue is this .. What happens if the Server problem is not fixed on Wednesday? Are there any guarantees that this problem will be resolved soon? Do you honestly think a majority of players are going to wake up in the early hours of the morning (those that live in the UK or Europe that is) to try & play hoping that the Server issue has been resolved.

Still unable to log into game screen, looks like weeks of careful play with regard to a title wasted.

Might the server breakdown have something to do with the silly nodding sheep with rainbow trails that have replaced drones? Turned drones off, as an April fool goes seems BP/DO shot itself in the foot maybe...

On a more positive note, not all the servers are down, Global America 5 on US(East) seems fine except the annoying drones thing.

Just in case any BP/DO staff actually read this, traditionally an April Fools prank is only valid up until midday, after which the Prankster becomes the fool. Please fix our drones & broken servers or maybe at least let us know what compensations maybe in order.

Hey there silver bullet.
I also have 4 quests that require one npc to finish and the 5th quest would have been taken to the last npc last night (Tuesday) I was waiting for the exp booster to finish them all this morning (before work). As it transpires the 50% booster was for honour and not experience as I had hoped it would be. That said, I have approx 200 mil exp and over 10k uridium available for just a handful of npc.
I will not be happy if these quests reset....

 

We are currently aware that there are some issues within several servers. This matter is being investigated. Hopefully by the time you receive my post here in forums a resolution will have been found and you can return to your game play.
