General Archive Thread Prefixes

    Greetings space pilots,

    Since many of you have noticed that some of the threads have contain thread prefixes like [GI] and are wondering what it is all about. These prefixes are being used to make it easier for forums users to distinguish between different threads from different sections, namely for when they are archived as currently we have one archive section for all existing threads. To try and make it easier for you to locate older threads we have been adding prefixes to the threads for when the time comes that they are archived.

    In doing this we came with these custom thread prefixes that you may see:

    [GI] General Issues Section
    [UI] Update & Idea Section
    [TI] Tech Issues Section
    [TEI] Tech Event Issues Section
    [SC] Speakers Corner Section
    [CL] Clans

    This will not affect existing section rules and is something moderators will take care of when appropriate. We hope this helps you when locating older threads from hereon.

    Note: These prefixes are only for archive section.
