In FAQ Shieldpower Charts there is 2x boost option. How do I get second boost to the shield? Im using SHD-B01. If I buy more, they add in time, not in strenght.

  2. There are 2 boosters available the *-BO1 is there all the time but a *-BO2 is available after a Happy Hour (Mega) for 24 hours, these are bought just like the BO1's and stacked the same way so your hours run and the boosters automatically activate as one runs out (time is accumulated instead of adding boost). So a double boosted player has both the BO1 and BO2 booster for each item. Keep a look on the Shop and when you see the "dotted" Uridium symbol on boosters you will see the "Shared" BO2 boosters listed before the regular boosters you can buy and subscribe to. These are shared as they give players around you a boost as long as they are within a specific range of your ship.

Thank you HelpMeHelpYou. If I have the BO2, would it boost blue player who fire at me?

  4. Regrettably it is shared with friendly (same company) ships (or members of the outfit you are in) within range of the shared booster. You can read more about them in >this< posting. The boost provided is 5% or 10% depending on what the actual booster is 10% or 25%. The good thing is if they are not basically right beside you they are not getting the boost from the shared booster. My first experience with these were several years ago when I was just getting my ship FE and killing a Cubikon required more than an FE ship to solo them and Starzie allowed me to assist her in killing her Cubes with her. Sitting right beside her I was able to enjoy the boosters she had to gain extra from the killing I did. These work best when attacking something you can just sit in one place and take any damage the attacked can give to you.

If friendly ship fire at me, It's not friendly any more, but I'm not sure if the word friendly was used to indicate that the booster will stop working for the friendly ship that attack the booster owner. The boost work at the same distance as weapons, I believe. I would love to test it, if the shared boost desappear if I fire at the ship with B02, but I can't find any.

  6. FRIENDLY meant a BLUE named ship, yes if they are attacking you then they are not FRIENDLY but the booster will work for them also. The booster range is not as large as you think it is. You literally have to be beside the person to get the boost, I had to be within 2 ships distance to receive the boost from Starzie. One thing to remember is if they also have the shared booster then you get it from them too.

You can see the distance if you have your booster gauge open and fly by someone with full boosters and see the values change then see how close you have to be to get the boost.

Thak you, it's clear, this thread may be closed.

  8. Note on this.

The friendly "same company" ship will receive only a 5% boost while the owner gets a full 25% on shields boosters.

Regular shield booster is 25% for 10 hours of pay time.
Shared booster is also 25% for 10 hours of play time.
When you have both of these boosters you have a 50% shield boost.

    Damage boosters work the same.
Regular damage booster is 10% more damage for 10 hours play time.
Shared damage booster is 10% damage for 10 hours play time.
But only 5% to other friendly "same company" ships
When you have both damage boosters you have and extra 20% damage.
