    The number of hangars you could have depends on the number of ships you bought. This means that whenever you bought/assembled/received another ship, you will automatically have another hangar for it. It was updated that you don't need anymore to buy another hangar for you to place a ship in there if you plan to buy one. You just need to mark a 2nd ship as favorite so that the 2nd hangar will be activated and so on for other hangars.

    Just favorite a ship and you are set.

    They did away with the "Bought Hangar" with the update to the Hangar System. You now have "Favorite Hangars" which when you are looking at the ship there is a "Star" in upper right of the window. Click this and it adds the ship to and accessible hangar from the WARP window in the client. You can assign 10 to the Hangars and of they have not fixed the issue when collecting other ships can have more (I have the FREE Centaur in an 11th on several of my accounts).
