[GI] Aegis in the auction

Howdy. I want to ask you. If I win an aegis elite in the auction, I will have only a design or the ship with the design? Thanks for answer.

 

There are 3 types of Aegis atm (excluding cosmetic designs) the Aegis which is the basic ship, the one that came out before there were any designs to add, and now since the Hangar change the Elite and Veteran 'designs' are also ships in their own right and have no dependency on the basic ship.... This seems to be why there is a problem with the PvP quests in game as the quests were only written to count the basic ship (with or without cosmetic design) and not the Elite and Veteran 'designs'...

YES as of MAY 2016 if the Ship is seen in the Hangar you no longer call it a DESIGN and as such do not have to have the basic ship any longer to use it. This is why the cost of the Veteran and Elite have gone through the roof and the basic ship has dropped to what we used to pay for the Veteran.

The designs are only cosmetic and are for SPECIFIC Ships, the Elite Ships have designs, Spectrum, Sentinel, Diminisher, Venom, Goliath, G-Champion (was created for the flag designs), Lightning and Pusat, and even the new Tartarus have designs to be applied. Other less known ships are the Defcom, Yamato, Bigboy, and Nostromo, and recently confusion with the Nostromo Ambassador as it appears the frost works on the Nostromo without the Ambassador Ship.
