    Can someone explain the alloy drop rate to me? Whenever i kill those plagued glytherall things, I only seldom see the alloys drop. I thought they always dropped? And I shoot it first also

    There should be a 50% chance that they drop, as stated in this FAQ just a little down the page: http://www.bigpoint.com/darkorbit/board/threads/plague-alert-faq.118721/

    That is 50% each time that it might drop, I'm sure there will be times that it will not seem to drop much. Which from just not too many it may seem like it's not 50%, which may make it easy to say it's not 50% but need a large pool to be more sure.


    Of course not that I know for sure if it is 50% or not, but with these kind of things you tend to need a large pool to try get a better idea of the chance.

    Just a heads up the curent drop rate is actually lower than 50% even if FAQ states 50%.

    You have a 50% chance it will drop. But it is 50% for every Gyger you shoot it does NOT mean 50% of your kills. There is another thread where the person reports it is about 20% actual drop rate, they killed 100 and got 20 drops. This like shooting dice for a 7 you may have to roll 25 times to get one.
