[GI] apis drone

so i have all the parts for the apis drone......should i launch the apis or wait until the zeus is ready also ? thanks in advance.

 

It depends - if you want maximum efficiency in constructing the zeus you should wait until you can produce both drones, since when you're at 45 parts you cannot get any more of them, thus ever-so-slightly increasing the chance for a zeus part/drone (there's also the off chance that you could get a full apis drone in the meantime). Btw, similar logic applies when building galaxy gates - get a small ship (phoenix) and spin with it (once you fill up its nanohull you cannot get any more, and you have a slightly higher chance of getting a gate part instead)

On the other hand, if you shoot a lot of stuff, producing the apis drone is definitely going to help with the additional 2 lasers slots it offers - it'll generally strengthen your ship if you need it on the spot

I made the mistake of building the Apis as soon as it was available and now have enough parts to build another and still fighting to get my Zeus Parts to build it. 3 accounts with over 40 Apis Parts (with Apis built) and less than 10 Zeus Parts each.
