  1. Okay I know this has been kicked to death, BUT, I have noticed that you need so much more scrap than anything else in the system and it is the least found item dropped. I have an over abundance of the Aurus dropped in 5-2 and not claimed and I collect all of the A.S. ores I have dropped from my NPC's but rarely find any left by the BOTS that are just killing and leaving the cargo to dissapear. I see lots of Bifenon, Mucosum, Plasmide, and Prismatium, BUT everything seems to hinge on SCRAP which seems to be NON-EXISTENT in the maps.

Is this the way you planned this or is this an error in the Time Space Continuum known as Dark Orbit?

I ask as looking at my NPC KILL's on the ranking I have about the same amount of kills on Saimon/Mordon as my Pet has on Lordakia and I usually only see the Mucusom while in the Galaxy Gates or after he has Kami'd all of the trash collected while killing a Devo or Sibelon, but seldom the Scrap from the Mordons or Saimon he also kills.

It is nice to see these ores have been added to the Booty Chest and Cargo Drops instead of replacing them as originally released.

    To answer your question ''Yes.''

The Drop Rate/Percantages are clearly at the discretion of D.O.

Do you have any other questions regarding this subject?

  3. To be honest YES there is something else on the SUBJECT.

When this was introduced, it was supposed to assist the FREE player to counterbalance the imbalance created with the inclusion of the LF-4 (etc.) and the only thing it did was to give the wallets something else to spend their Uridium on, when/IF it is ever in the SHOP, but then when it was their no one wanted to BUY it as the cost was way out of whack, of course no one knew the BUYING it was going to be the only way to get it.

Don't know why I should have expected anything different from D O they have always put the WALLET before the POPULATIONS they could have had, but then that is why you are having to merge servers that once were being created to reduce the overcrowding in some servers.

I guess I should "Abandon Ship" before it all sinks to the bottom of the Game pit.

  4. They should make the percentages offical for everyone to see. Players should be able to get an idea of how much effort they need to put in when trying to obtain a new item or achievment. This is a really poor aspect of the game and honnestly, I think it greatly takes away from the experience.

The ONLY reason I still play DO is because of nostalgia. I played it when I was a kid. All of my friends to whom I've introduced Darkorbit will not stay because of things like this. The game isn't just too time-comsuming (try farm a substantial amount of uri, say just 100,000 uri with bad equipment killing mordons and devolariums without premium to repair your ship) you're on top of that given dire odds trying to go this new supposedly "free player" supporting route crafting items instead of buying them, odds which you're not even allowed to know.

I want my friends to play DO with me. As of now, they won't. The new login-bonus system is great, but it's not enough. Something has to be done about the ridiculously slow route of progress when playing this game. As of now, you are better of just login in once of twice a day, using skylad and obtaining the daily login-bonus. Actually playing the game in order to advance as a new player is almost meaningless, especially without premium which should not be a must. Box/Alien rewards needs to be increased to match the cost of all the new items that have been released these last few years. This game desperately needs more players. More players would benefit everyone, including bigpoint income.

I've deliberately been evoiding killing enemy players without 10 drones / full havoc for YEARS, simply to support the gameplay of new players. The game should be able to balance itself. I'll repeat myself, I want to play DO with my friends. Make the game playable for them and new/free players. (Most of them would even be willing to become paying players, but they need to find the game enjoyable FIRST, not afterwards)

    Thank you for reading

  5. Sounds like Good Business Sense, keep the Free Player so they eventually want to Spend Money, NOT Keep the Wallets Happy so they will keep it OPEN, eventually these WALLETS OWN EVERYTHING and close forever, if they maintain playing the BROKEN aspects of what was a GREAT GAME, wish it was 2011 again.

The conflict between ''Wallet Warrior'' and ''Free Player '' will always be an argument. Please keep in mind that the people that put money into the game keep it open. Without the ''Wallet Warriors there would be no DO at all.

    Closing as answered

    Thanks
