[GI] Auction

Fix the security in the auction you should never be checked in the last 16 sec. of the aucton. The [REMOVED] who set that up is a [REMOVED] and has never been in an auction. the last three auctions I've been stopped from the final round of bids do to this incompetent written program. That said who else has an issue with this. Wish they would fix all the bugs before adding something else.

 

LOL... Mods working overtime... Hey bud, with this event going on, there are probably more players on at the same time and trying to do the same thing...bid in the last 16 sec. It causes lots of strife on the system and yes I have had it happen to me as well.

 

I must say I have seen a "CAPTCHA" a couple of times during my many years of bidding and winning in the TRADE/AUCTION. I have never seen it during the last few seconds of a bid and have found the LAG to be more depressing than any security measures, as I never see them.

Thank you for the report. I have to say, CAPTCHA seems to happen randomly as I experienced it few times, mostly after bidding on many items on the same time. I will ask the team and will find out for you if this is faulty and is in the process of getting fixed.

I got checked this morning at 5 am "uswest" with 3 seconds to go before the end. lol won all but one. 3 seconds ?
