[GI] Cant use VPN????

And it says i cant use a VPN while playing my game ? i need too use one for my security for example when i get on too Teamspeak ... people can Ddos me if they get my ip and know where i live ......

Using such services, whilst not against any specific rules, could leave an account open to being associated with the troublemakers
This advice was given because many people who use them have unscrupulous reasons for hiding their online id.
Although what the thread refers to is that If your account was found to be account sharing, pushing or hacking.
Saying that you use a VPN will not be accepted as a valid excuse to get around the punishment.
So, you can use a VPN, it is just not advised.

Please define for the less Internet Savvy among us what a VPN is?? Does this include FaceBook etc?

Facebook isn't included.

A VPN allows people to hide their IP address and use another one, so if I connected to a VPN hosted in France my IP would show up as being French, even though I'm using my computer in the UK.
People would use a VPN as an excuse as to why their account shows as having IP address log on it from all around the world when infact they were just sharing their account.

 

So anyone can go to support and lie and say im account sharing and get my acc banned?

 

No, more proof would be needed than just IP for account sharing.

 

is there prob if i use my brother acc we are in deferent country and we use our acc only on 2 pc's his and mine i conecct some time to buy him rebate or doubler ???

 

accessing your brother's account is not allowed, even if it is family, it is still account sharing.

You might look into using a Prepaid or Gift card, that you send the account information to your brother, and let him use the funds as he needs to. You keep the card so you can re-load it and he has the information he needs to access the funds on his account, therefore there is no account sharing, he is not spending money you do not want him to have, and every one gets what they want.
