[GI] Chat and forum mods ruin the game further....

By alienating players with ludicrous chat and forums bans/deletions.

My 1000$ a year game spending is going bye bye and they are partially to blame.

 

Awe, they don't see any of it anyways.

 

†~Death~from~Above~† in almost every your post, I see you blabbing about money spent. It starts to be tedious. It's your decision if you decide to spend money on game or not, and if you do, it doesn't make you special and you deserve no special treating from others.

Mods just do their work, that means cleaning garbage from forums and chat, among other things. And you know what? They do it for free, from 'your' money, they have nothing.

 

darkorbit moderator team dont see a penny that you put into this game so that rules out banns based on who spends the most but if you complain to support about a ban and its found that the moderator was wrong that moderator will be told and u will be unbanned

well guys,stop complaining...frome what i reed on this forum (englease language one),here mods and board admins are mild and democratic....on my language forum,only if iou sneeze against them iou end up banned....
a thread like this one it is deleted in 5 seconds....

 

The mods are not employed by bigpoint nor do they recieve any rewards, because you may have paid money does not give anyone the right to do and say as they please on chat. The chat function is there to make the game more enjoyable for all and if a player brakes chat rules then a ban is the punishment. If the ban is unjustified then you should contact support and not make a scene about it in the forums. The mods work very hard not only to monitor chat and the forums also to monitor game play and be a link to the devs.

Thank you all for contributing to this thread.

Well as moderators we treat every players as same. We do not distinguish players basis amount they invested in game as we do not have such information with us.

We as moderators volunteer our time for this game and try to assist players since its our duty to do so within our own limitations. We do have our personal lives apart from being part of this game as moderator or as a player playing this game. So whatever little we can offer in order to make or help Darkorbit Community happy we devote for this work.

Also as moderators we have some set of guidelines we need to follow be it in chat or in forums. I hope every work or job in the world has different process in order to execute it perfectly and same is applicable to moderating as well.

Players need to abide by chat guidelines and same is applicable for forums as well.

Bans or infractions may happen after warnings and in some case not.

If you have any complains about us moderators please take this up with Support.

what u don't see is this most people banned from chat have either made racial comments, used some sort of profanity, or have consistenly
spoken in a foreign language after being told several times that this is a english speaking server, and the fact there are persons/people who
are under age 18 playing this game. bragging about how much u spend on this game contributing it to who or whom gets banned is
irrelevant.those who continually violate these rules are not innocent. In fact there should be more chat moderators on line 24/7.

Whether or not you have misgivings about the moderating team and what we do, we do this voluntarily (thank you all by the way^^) to try and help the community as best we can. We may have our missteps but that doesn't mean we're out to ruin the game or bring down anyone's experience by any means so I truly am sorry if anyone feels otherwise

To avoid further spam, and anymore potential flaming of the moderating team, I am going to close this thread. Again as Poseidon had kindly asked, if you have an issue with a moderator, support is there to assess and review the complaint.
