[GI] Chat and missions

Has been since June and July missions and chat has been messed up. ship kills do not count, and yet new things pop up like flies. How are ship kills going to get fixed if chat is such a hard thing to keep going.

 

They are two separate issues. The ship kills problem is because in the beginning, you had to have a basic ship w/wo designs, and that is the way the pvp missions are geared. Now they have to recode them to be for all the new designed ships.

Chat for most players had come back up if they got with support about a possible IP issue. This latest chat problem was something I can't explain but for me was only out 2 days and thank goodness for that.

At any rate, there have been multiple threads about both, as a mod will no doubt back me up with, and possibly shut this one down because of it. If your chat is still out, get with support. The pvp issue is something we just have to wait for the dev's for.

 

They have had my ip addy so much they outta move in.. it is not helping matter at all.

The US Chat servers are not working at the moment and the problem has been reported. Keep an eye here for details as we know them.

As for the ship kills not counting, this is a known issue, listed in the various known issues threads and was addressed in the Twitch stream last week.
