[GI] chat stop

my chat stop working for 8 days ...Stopped and still stalled

 

did you get the message "Connection lost with server"? in that case i suggest relog and if that doesn't work contact support, it may be possbile you are on some forgotten black list like i was

 

You can try clearing the Java and Flash Caches and deleting the Browser History. Your computer saves page information and with D O making changes all the time this can cause issues with the NEW information. IF this does not correct the issue then a message to Support is recommended giving them the Server Affected, User ID, Your IP Address (do not post in forums), Ship Name (not type) and Login Name.

The Mods might be able to assist (I don't remember if this has been taken away from them) if you post in the CHAT section of Forum (this section is only seen by D O Staff/Mods and will not be seen by the community) and will get a quicker response than waiting for the ticket to be seen by Support, but again if the ability to assist has been removed then it will need to be sent to Support anyway.

DO is still trying to fix the chat issue , my chat has been out for 5 weeks now minus twice it worked for maybe 10 minutes and then out again.
I have reported it and they have said they are working on it.

Try refreshing the chat client until [Global Chat is visible] . That has worked for me but it may take multiple tries before the chat client loads. I'm still having the loading problem but I manage to get it loaded. Just keep clicking the refresh icon in the chat box .What this is doing is re-sending a request to the game client . DO has discontinued NPAPI extensions for certain Adobe Flash plugins except for the Firefox browser extension.

 

I to have bin without chat for the post part of 5 weeks or more . but I have found that if I get invited to a group I get group chat only and some times it stops working . just this last week I have found that if I get a match in the UBA when it jumps me in I get global and company chat . but when I have it if I go to a group the group chat don't show up lol . it all hit and miss .

If you have done this then you have to wait for SUPPORT or a MOD to address the issue for you.

 

done all of they above ! was told to wate they are working on it ! just posted because there is a way to get it wile you wate for them to fix it !
