    Hello,

    I have just created my account on GE1. Can aneone explain why when i log in the game, the chat is absolutely empty and no one is talking. When i type "/users" only 10-20 names show up, allthough there is a lot more people online. I just want to be able to speak with the other people on the server. Any help is appreciated.

    When typing this it only gives the names in that chat. The others can be in any of the other chats including own company (which you would not see) Clan ONLY, Group, or PRIVATE. There have also been numerous issues with the chat and many have chosen to IGNORE this portion of the game and use TS3 or Discord to TALK to players instead of typing to them.

    Hello HelpMeHelpYou,

    I am talking about the "Global" chat. It is not normal everyone to be silent on Global Europe 1. Maybe I am just wasting my time trying to play on GE1. I allready have 8 year old account on GB1, but that server is dead.

    Like I say, there has been an issue with the Chat System kicking I P Addresses and many people have made other methods of communicating work better for them than this glitchy system from B P that D O has NO control over. TS3 and Discord channels have become alternates and allow hands free talking instead. I myself had to have my address added to the system on 3 different occasions within the first 6 months of the system change over in April '16.

    GE1 is an international server, hence it has several different language chat servers. I play there myself and the English chat is always quiet as clearly the other players on the map are in another language chat. Hope that clears it up for you :D

    As EmperorOfTheOrbit said (thank you), the global servers are multilanguage.

    There may be a hundred people roaming around a map, but 75 of them might be spread throughout the other languages (German, Turkish, Russian, Spanish, French, etc). Just as you might not see RU chat while using EN, they do not see EN while using RU.

    As long as your chat loads, the issue isn't from the IP ban bug (for example, if you can go in chat and type such as /users to see who all is in there, then your chat is at least working).

    Is there anything further from the OP?

    Thank you EmperorOfTheOrbit and Solid_Eye I do not play on GLOBAL servers and was not familiar with the additional LANGUAGE rooms but did acknowledge the other rooms that would be available, but gave another reason why the numbers would be down as I know several people who have given up on the Chat System as they prefer the hands free usage of and actual Talking CHAT service.

    I was never suggesting this OP was seeing the issue just that others may have suffered from it and given up on using the in-game chat service.
