[GI] Crab Formation Nerfed ?

I have took note that crab formation is not withstanding the punishment of Moth like it use to. I know As Long as I have shields on the formation it should work fine, tho some of us know that is not the case. Will DO be refunding URI for a formation that no longer works? For a formation that may have been nerfed.

This is the only formation that is support to stop a Moth Spamer and now its not working sad.

The only changes to crab formation that were made is was speed reduction from 20% to 15%. Darkorbit does not offer refunds in any cases. From my experience Crab is working as it should.

 

The problem is I have full shields and hp, UFE hitting 250k or 300k and using Moth formation kills shields and HP in one second and my shields go as well, enemy using Moth, I crab, crab not taking the damage or not working.

Not unless Crab formation only works for UFE I am FE 1 mil shields on run and 798 shields on fight, I mean in no time the shields are gone.... Maybe good idea to add the New BO3 shields now that ships are hitting harder. I don't have 50 points and I don't have level 16 shields that maybe the reason it is not working or holding defense against moth formation. I don't remember it ever working so bad. You should try it, have a UFE shoot u and let him be in moth and you in crab and see how that works for you.

 

I understand. I have to say that you have to be careful as players can deal high damage even with such amount of shield. Specially if they use Diminisher ability. From my own experience I have use Crab in many situations against Moth formation and for me it does work effective. Maybe in future there will be balance patch that could boost Crab formation is such situations. As this is not a issue I will lock the thread. Thank you for reporting it to us .
