[GI] Darkorbit does it yet again

Well, Darkorbit finally decided to fix the backpage time for the US Eastern servers, to much of American relief. But yet it still isn't fixed!

Spaceball was scheduled at 7PM Eastern time, the normal time for every single spaceball ever since they introduced it as a weekly thing, but instead we were met with disappointment yet again for a whopping 1-month streak.

Instead, the game has registered Spaceball on the backpage at 7PM, but no physical spaceball on the map. And 3 hours later, now 10PM, spaceball finally enters the map, but it isn't registered on the backpage.

Quite a turn of events.

My clan has suffered activity from these sketchy moves that has been pulled, instead of scheduling the events for the time us Americans are online, you instead schedule events in favor for the foreigners who don't even live in the United States, basically handing them a completely un-contested 500 spins per hour of spaceball.

Now, we cannot spaceball because of the time error, we cannot build clan battle stations because prime time has been extended to 11PM, we cannot do a single event starting at "7 PM" because it is a clear lie that support to this day assures us that the time is well, and our activity suffers because the popular question is raised -why log in when there is nothing to do on a broken game?

I'm completely baffled, honestly astounded because when we found out that spaceball was broken at 7PM, our enemies in global insisted on Spaceball at a later time, and bragged in which I quote, "Stop being salty, don't worry we'll dominate spaceball later at 10PM ."

And to my amazement, they were correct, 100% spot-on about their "assumption." Is this a simple mistake on Darkorbit's behalf or has Darkorbit finally accepted bribery in favor of the highest bidder? Support team still insists that this error has been fixed. And after 3 years of my clan dominating spaceball with any resistance crushed, the question of bribery from our enemies comes into play.

I'm honestly disappointed with Darkorbit, and the path its going through that is displayed in this one month whole endeavor, and now instead of having a game to log into every night to share with my friends, I am met with a game full of only a fraction of what we had every night prior to this time zone error.

They gave us the 2k spins that players still complained about. Fixes have to go one at a time. For instance, they manually changed or was supposed to manually change some of the regularly scheduled events because of the time issue. Now hey have to manually reset them.

I'm going to be honest but there was no reason for the spaceball to not be on the 4-4 map while it was online on the backpage. And then 3 hours later, up until 10PM EST, spaceball finally arrives on the 4-4 map but it isn't listed on the backpage. I don't know if this issue persists on other USA Eastern servers, but it sure doesn't look good on USA East 3.

As I've stated, our enemies we have fought for years and prevented them from spaceballing for years insisted on spaceball at a later time that same very night after we demolished them in 4-4.

Then at a later time at 10PM, their wishes of spaceball was granted.

There is clearly something going on behind the curtains my friend.

 

These issues are effecting my playing time on USA East 3. I do not stay awake past ten, as others are enjoying spaceball and rubbing it in our faces that they have it, it's unfair to the ones that can't spaceball anymore because of these times have changed. Server time is fixed, but the events are not. I won't be able to do Crazy Cubes nor Spaceball because of this. Which i will not be able to grow as a player since these events are broke, as i was promised many times they are fixed. But still see they are not.

 

I've never really participated much in the whole space ball thing. Use to go steal the odd cargo and things like that. Never saw the importance of the event really. I'm usually too busy killing or helping players

But now reading this post I can clearly see it's importance to many players.

To be fair, I can't participate in the events due to work but try to make time for certain things that only take a moment. Unfortunately I have not seen what I am going for hit on time either. I am trying to wait it out, but can see that the event schedule has been all screwed around. The event calendar needs a review of the settings so people can participate at the appropriate times and we can just complain about the bugs only.
